A not-so 0'square' dance shoe. This maryjane is nice and lightweight, and maybe a touch more fashion-forward than it looks in the picture. (Well, not exactly hip and trendy, but not dowdy-old-lady-comfort-shoe either!) And while there isn't much padding, the manufacturer claims they're OK for street wear (not just dancing) as long as you don't get the suede soles wet. (I find that one foot does kind of hang over the edge of the sole slightly, and I have narrow feet--so this is probably not a heavy-duty walking shoe here.) The toe shape is a little narrow--rubs me just a little in one spot; I'm hoping that will stretch. I'd go with a medium width unless your foot is super-narrow, and would go up a half size in length.

Liked everything but the strap broke - I was pleased with the shoe (look, fit, size, comfort) until I wore it for the first time. When I stepped out of my house, the strap broke. I don't know if the shoe design caused the shoe strap to break, or whether the shoe was defective from the beginning. Perhaps others have found the shoe to be fine.

Dance shoe - They seem to work and had just the right traction for one dance floor and were a bit too sticky for another. I like the look, I can't complain. I can only wear flats and have had real trouble finding a reasonable cute shoe that feels good. Better for ballroom than for salsa (flexibility and slide).

Good shoe. Pewter is bronze, though! I ordered these in "Pewter" and the colour is really nothing like the picture. The shoes are a darker, showier bronze colour. That may be a plus for some and a minus for others. I'm undecided! As for the fit, I haven't worn them dancing yet, but they are pretty comfortable. I wear a size 7.5 in "street shoes" which I wear with socks, and I got these in 7.5 and they fit snugly without socks. I don't notice any rubbing or tight spots in the shoes, so I'm dancing in them tomorrow!

The Shag is a great shoe. Dressy without the discomfort of heels and best of all a leather sole so I can dance! It could use some arch support.

Tried several styles of TIC TAC TOES dancing shoes. This one just right for low heel height without sacrificing style. The toe box though more pointed than I would have preferred is nevertheless comfortable.

I plan to return these shoes. They fit very comfortably with socks, but when worn with bare feet they are uncomfortable. The piece of material that stiffens the heel comes much farther forward than on most shoes, and the corner of that piece pokes me in the side of the foot. I ordered another pair of Tic Tac Toes (the T-Stepper), and had the same problem. These shoes are very cute on the foot, so it's a shame that the fit is weird. I have narrow feet, and the width of the shoe was just right for me.

I ordered these shoes on Thursday night and received them on Friday. They are comfortable, but a little narrow in the toe. I ordered a wide, but because of all the dancing, my feet have widened over the years. I still love them. This is my second pair of TicTacToes. I love this place!

I bought these shoes to wear to Contra dances which are very vigerous dances, they have the soft sole for being able to do a lot of turns and not but stress on your legs and knees. I'm very happy with these shoes.

I typically wear an 8.5W. I have a wide front and narrow heel. So the strap on these was a plus. I ordered my size, because a size larger was not in stock. The front is slightly pointed, so it hurts my big toe, and the back digs into my heel (even with my small heels!). They aren't bad looking for flat character shoes. But they're not going to work for me...
