First time ordering from Zappos and won't be the last. Received the shoe within the week of ordering it plus I didn't pay a dime for shipping. I get compliments for this shoe all the time on its look. All in all this shoe is a bang for the buck.

This shoe is exactly what my son wanted! He likes them so much, we've actually bought another pair when the old ones wore out! He wears them everyday and not only for skating, but also for everyday wear.

I bought this pair of shoes because my son insisted to buy them so we could go to a local skatepark. I don't skate to much but with these Emericas I feel like Tony Hawk. I can do so many tricks like pro. They are wonderful, and I skate like a Boss!

This shoe is sick. It looks like the picture and it is a really good looking shoe. It does not rip that bad and if you want a thin version of the Romero 2... here it is

These shoes are great! Very comfortable, with a soft inside. I only wish they came in bigger sizes (15 to 17) and more colors. Five stars!
Brands I'd also recommend: Simple and Vans if they had bigger sizes!

I have been skateboarding for about 12 years, and out of all the shoes I have skated these are probably my favorite all time skate shoes. I put laces in them for skating and they stay snug. Great board feel and they are great to skate right out of the box, no break in period. They last surprisingly long for how thin they are. I have had 4 pairs already and have 4 more on the way. Stocking up!

Couldn't find these shoes anywhere locally. My son wanted solid black skateboarding shoes from this manufacturer and they weren't available anywhere in our area. So, found them on Zappos.com and ordered them and within a couple of days they were on his feet. Couldn't ask for more. Very happy with the shoes and, of course, with Zappos for having them in stock and shipping them so fast!

Zappos is my new favorite place to shop for my kids. My 14 year old son looked online and found a lot of great shoes that he wanted to buy. He chose two pair of Emerica Laced in different colors and called to order them. The young lady on the telephone was so friendly and helpful that he was overwhelmed by her great service. He said that she was REALLY NICE. We received both pairs of shoes within a couple of days. He ended up only keeping the black pair and sending the other back. He loves the fit and the fabric. It is light weight and not bulky around the top. His pants fall nicely around the shoe instead of bunching up at the top, like they did on other shoes he tried that had a lot of padding. We called to get information on how to make a return and the staff was very helpful and informative. The return was processed within a week and the best part of all, there were no shipping charges for the return. A few days after we received the shoes, my son received a hand written thank you card in the mail from the young woman who had helped him place the order. It was so personal that she even wrote some helpful advice about starting high school. I love this company. They have a great selection of merchandise, ordering was simple, the prices are great, the shipping is free, the staff are knowledgable and friendly and we loved the whole experience. We will tell all of our friends about Zappos!

Emerica Laced! These are my favorite shoes I've ever had! They're extremely light and comfortable, and the design on the insole doesn't fade after wearing them! The only problem is that they felt a bit larger than other shoes the same size.

This shoe is so awesome. I'm really use to wearing the Vans Authentic, and these are the closest to those I have ever had. I love these shoes. They feel true to size and width. Some of the other reviews on this shoe I read said that you can’t wear them with socks. That's not completely true. The black and white ones anyway feel great without socks. I would recommend this shoe to anyone that wants to try them. The only thing I don't like is that the tongue is held down; I like my tongues to be able to stand out more and sit on top of my pants.
Brands I'd also recommend: Vans Authentics, not Eras.

I'm a size 7.5 and waited for over a month for my size to come back in stock. I just received them-- love the look and the feel, but they're too big! The heel feels great but the toe box is just too long. I will definitely get them when the 7s restock. Though they look very similar to the Harness, Cavalry are much more comfortable and less loose in the heel.

Awesome - Bought these shoes about two weeks ago, and absolutely love them. They are comfortable, easy to care for, and look great. They do get a little hot some times, but besides that they are good.

Emerica laced - These shoes rock. They are grippy for skating and comfy with great board feel but they wear away fast so be sure to shoo go them and they will be fine. Also, as other people have said wear higher socks whey will irritate the back of your ankle and it hurts after a while

These shoes are great. They look awesome and feel great. The only problem is that before they were worn in, I got a blister on both of my big toes but it went away quick. Also DO NOT wear them with extremely short socks or no socks, they will really hurt.

GREAT SKATEBOARDING SHOES - I got these for my son, he picked them out online. He is an avid skater. He loves them, they look cool and he says they are one of the most comfortable skate shoes he has had (he has had many!)

Well, it’s an all right shoe for just hanging out and just wanting to chill. I wouldn’t suggest this shoe to anyone if they want a good slip-on classic look skate shoe. But don’t get me wrong, it is a good shoe but it doesn’t hug your foot like I was expecting it too. It does have a very good look, the green was a good choice, it’s brighter and more lively than it is in the picture, so that was a plus. One down side about this shoe is that it doesn’t have a non-slip heel, and the elastic isn’t at the top of the shoe like slip-on Vans, it’s more like in the middle of the shoe. But overall it’s an ok shoe.

Basic, but great shoe, only bad thing is the little bit of leather on the inside so you need kinda high socks, but other wise they’re great.
