Ouch! This shoe just became available again. I just bought a pair to replace my wonderful worn out Privo Sofritos. Ouch!!! The left heel cuts in to my heel sharply. You can tell when you feel the shoe heel that the left shoe heel comes in on the heel more sharply than the right shoe heel. I'm not sure even wearing them a while will break them in so the left shoe doesn't hurt my heel!!!

My new favorite shoes - I fell in love with these sneakers right out of the box. They fit like a glove. I went hiking in Acadia National Park wearing them and I didn't have any discomfort. Super soft and flex with your feet. The cushioning is awesome. If you do a lot walking these are a must have. You don't even realize you have shoes on your feet. I honestly wear them every single day. I need another pair in a different color. LOVE THEM!!!

Ankle swelled up during my France trek - I loved these shoes right of the box! I wear them with socks. Fast forward to wearing them walking the streets of Europe...OUCH. They cut into the back of my left ankle, right above my heel. My ankle swelled up in addition to pain with every step. Days later my ankle is still swollen, slowly recovering. I removed the insoles and used Superfeet...same problem. I have narrow feet and am physically fit. Great shoe if you depend on a car.

Cool! I wear 7 1/2 to 8 in shoes ordered a 7-1/2 in this shoe. When first got thought might be a little tight but they "broke" in very easily. Very comfortable shoe! I have trouble with my feet hurting at my part time job, because I stand a lot. Wore these all day Sunday and my feet did not bother me near as much as in any other shoe, and I have tried all kinds!! Would recommend this shoe!!!

Chocolate Sofrito - The shoe is awesome. It rubbed my heel for a couple days but it formed to my foot. Then it fit perfectly. They are so comfortable and cute. Great with jeans and khakis!

First pair wonderful - second pair - not SO wonderful! Ordered these shoes last year (April 07) and just like everyone else, they fit wonderfully right out of the box. Very, very comfortable - no need to “break in". Perfect. Bought them to wear for 3 week trip to Europe, wore every single day. Walked for miles - no blisters - just perfect. FAST FORWARD to June 08 - now my "perfect" shoes are almost all worn down (I wear them almost every single day!). Ordered ANOTHER pair in same exact size, same style, different color - opted for the nubuck leather so the trim is different... got them and left shoe is too tight and rubbed on heel. Not comfortable at all. Gave them 2 days of carpet/tile wear - still not happy. Returned them for another pair identical to first pair - all nubuck and I am miserable… EVEN TIGHTER and MORE UNCOMFORTABLE ! Couldn't even get them on without a shoehorn, rubbed both back heels. Tried them for over 2 hrs, could NOT stand the discomfort, am returning them . I have no idea how same shoe, style, size, and model can have completely different feel. Loved the "Zappos" experience - they couldn't be nicer or make it easier, but after 2 tries - I give up... ( at least with these shoes). First pair would get all 5 stars - second and third pair only 1-2 stars...

Great shoe all around - no problems at all!! I was hesitant to order this after reading all the comments about the heel problems with this shoe, but I was so anxious to find something for an upcoming trip. They are fabulous shoes & I am not disappointed at all! I am not having any problems with the heel rubbing, maybe because I am wearing socks -- I figure if I'm going to go w/out socks, I'll wear sandals. Yes, it would be better if Clarks would make the heel back cushioned (why don't they listen to all this feedback??!!) This shoe is SO cute, the insole is SO comfortable and cushioned, it really is comparable to my winter SoftWalk shoes. I am thrilled to find this -- perfect for spring/summer in the grey/silver combo -- will order in the black for next fall & winter.

Great shoes, but they squeak - I love the shoes. They look good, they're light, and they're comfortable - I can walk for miles with no problem. Plus, I love that there are no laces to come untied, but about two weeks after getting the shoes, I starting noticing that they squeaked. LOUDLY! Even when they're completely dry, they continue to squeeeak! People turn around when I walk down the street, the squeaking is so loud. (They're such great shoes that I still wear them though.)

Great - I just spent two months trekking in Southeast Asia and had with me two pairs of Privo Sofrito shoes. They were absolutely wonderful and I didn't feel tired at all after walking 4 hours. I understand they want to discontinue this style and I think it would be a mistake. I had many compliments and left both pairs for people in Asia.

Exactly what I wanted - I'd been on a shoe quest for some time to find some cute slip on semi-athletic, but cute and appropriate enough for my mostly casual office and I finally found them. They are supremely comfortable! A few others have complained about the back of the heel, which yes is a bit high, but it hasn't bothered me much after the first few days once everything softened up. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.
