VERY UNUSUAL! I love 'em.
These boots are bizarre. I couldn't get them on at first, and they were immediately packed back up to be returned. Then I re-read the reviews and realized I wasn't doing it right, so I tried again and voila - they slipped right on. The key is turning the cuff all the way down, otherwise there is no way to get them on. Once they are on, they are amazing. And I have double wide feet and fairly large calves and ankles (some might say "cankles") and these fit me nicely. The leather is extraordinarily soft, and they look like they might be slightly fragile. So not for every day hard core wear, but they are so beautiful that I decided to keep them, even though they seem not as practical as I was looking for. I only wish they were a taller shaft. They are marked 15 inch, but look shorter when compared to my other 15 inch boots. The pointy toe looks great, and the padding and width is perfect for wide footed gals like me. Love ‘em. The burgundy-brown color is unique, too - very different, very nice. Takes practice getting them on, but once you figure out the trick, they are pretty amazing boots. I almost sent them back so I'm really glad I tried again. I'd suggest putting really clear directions in the box - they are otherwise impossible to get on and make you feel like Cinderella's ugly stepsister at first.

Bad quality -
These are really hard to get your foot into. The back seam ripped apart when I put them on the second or third time, and I have real narrow feet and thin calves. A real bummer because these boots are made of real beautiful, super soft leather and are quite comfortable for such a high and skinny heel. Maybe it was just bad luck for me.

Beautiful boot -
I ordered these boots because I have 2 pairs of mid-calf high Sudinis and love them. These are beautiful true chocolate brown. I didn't have trouble getting them on-the trick is to roll the top down (so the inside shows) all the way to the ankle, then roll the back up. The ankle area is a little bit slouchy, which you can't tell from the picture. The reason that I had to return them is my narrow heels slipped a lot when I walked.

Can't comment on the fit....couldn't get them on......they could really use a zipper!! I have a very wide footbed and a very high arch; this lovely boot is not compatible with my foot...I will keep looking.

Perfect for curvy girls -
This shoe is great for me, a truly weird size. My feet are 11.5 AAA but I'm large, a dress size 24 with very plus-sized calves.
I ordered the boot in 12AA and the length/width was perfect (after all leather usually comes smaller - it stretches to conform to your body). I was surprised to find that the shaft was actually a little loose and slouchy, a rare find for a fat gal.
I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with slim calves, but for us plus size people it's perfect.

Awesome Boot -
This is my 3rd pair is Sudini boots and I love these as much as the others. They look hot and fit great. I read the reviews regarding the heel tips coming off. They were correct. They boots arrived with the heel tips loose so I secured them with clear nail polish and have not had a problem with them.

I thought these boots would be of better quality. I have had them for 2 weeks and the peg on the bottom of the heel already fell off. I work in an office with carpets and have only worn them 4 times. Very disappointing. They are too big around the calf, and I have a slightly larger then average calf, so I thought they would give me the look I was going for, but they look slouchy cause they are too big. I did not return them because it’s hard to find a shoe in my size. The foot part of the boot is very comfortable and the heel is the perfect height, after I go to the shoe repair shop to even the heels. As usual Zappos service was fast. Over all, I thought for the money they would have stayed together longer than a couple of weeks.

Fall must have -
Those fall catalogs and magazines are rolling in and what do they all feature? A high boot. Having a narrow foot limits my choices but I felt like the perfect one is above. Very soft and beautifully made out of lamb. Fits well. A little loose in the calf but hopefully tights or leggings will remedy that. Slides on easily with no need for a zipper. I can hardly wait to put away the sandals and get into the boots.

Finally large enough -
For the longest time I have been looking for a large enough, wide enough boot with a nice heel. And here it is. Just pull them on. Wore them with my black cord Gouchos, black sleeveless turtleneck, black leather blazer and black leather 4 button gloves. Turned a lot of heads at the airport. I love the way they feel on my feet and legs

Maybe it's because I wear a wide width, but I found that this boot did not hug my calves at all, especially in the lower part (closer to the ankle). I wear a large/wide shoe because I'm tall---not big---and this boot looked baggy on me. I suggest a stretch boot that zips instead because those can be made skinnier. Also, this was on the small/narrow side for Sudini. I've bought many Sudini boots and some styles (such as Legend) seem to run smaller/narrower than others.
