Sexy but Stubborn. I think these shoes are adorable. The rounded toe box, the cute flower, the heel is a good height. And Sofft made an effort to design these with a pillowy insole. The problem is with the hard, unyielding leather. I am not convinced that I will be able to break in the stiff heel, and it's a shame, because it looks great. Maybe if I got them on sale I'd be willing to tough it out and deal with a painful break-in, but since I paid full price, I want them to be comfortable right away. Unfortunately, the stubbornness of the leather forces me to send them back. It's very sad.

Beautiful, but loose strap - These fit my sister's 7W foot perfectly, when so many other shoes have failed. The brownwood leather is gorgeous and the style contemporary, only problem is the lose strap (by about a half inch). We're hoping we can get a cobbler to fix it; the seam makes it look possible.

Cute, comfy, crazy sizing! This shoe is hot and the footbed is sooo comfortable, but the sizing is WACK! I got an 8.5W which practically fell off my feet, and then the 8W nearly smashed all my footbones- to the point where I wondered if the factory mislabeled a standard as a wide. And the strap is purposeless as a strap- think of it as decoration rather than a functional element of the shoe. The good news? If the shoe fits your foot properly, you don't need the strap to work, that's how good the footbed design is. (Again, if it fits YOUR foot!)

Fantastic Shoes - These shoes are lovely to behold and comfortable to boot...can't ask for much more than that. Usually a size 7.5 or 8 narrow, I opted for size 8 narrow, but I wouldn't necessarily say that the shoe runs small -- just order up if you're between sizes.

Very pretty shoe - This shoe is very nice looking - not quite as "cloud-like" as I'd hoped, but reasonably comfortable for a pump. Cushioning in bottom is really thick. I ordered a wide which I don't usually have to do. Seemed like the padding made it fit tighter.

Cute, comfortable shoe! I was looking for a sassy little shoe that was comfortable enough to wear out dancing. This definitely fit the bill! I wore these to see a band last night, was on my feet in them for a good three hours and walked home in them afterward. Sweet!

WOW! Sexy and perfect for my nearly-60 yr old feet with high arches I inherited from Dad! Haven't gotten this excited about a new pair of shoes in so many years, that I can't recall when! Opened the box at my Mom's home and even SHE got excited about them! And she's 93! Wish they were also available in Chocolate Suede in 11M...I'll check back with Zappos later about this. The black suede is gorgeous and flexible! Now I can donate to the thrift shop my still-sexy pointy-toe stiletto slings with very little guilt! Keep this style in your inventory for a while!

Pleasantly surprised - After reading the reviews of this shoe I was sure I was going to have to send it back. But I was pleasantly surprised. I find that if your foot doesn't fit a certain mold that it could be uncomfortable. I wear a size 9 and my foot is on the narrow side. My Mom also wears a size 9 but her foot is on the wider side. I find the shoes so comfortable I was able to wear them right out of the box with any hose on. My Mom, on the other hand, felt the shoe squished her foot and were uncomfortable. So moral of this story is...if you have a boney foot on the more narrow side you'll probably like this shoe. If you don't you probably won't.

Loved the shoes - I love the shoes. They are not only pretty, but they are comfortable with lots of cushy support. The heel is a great height. My only negative is the shoes have too many seams sewn throughout it.

Sofft Calypso - I love this beautiful yet so comfortable shoe! It is the best of both worlds. I feel totally feminine in this shoe, yet my feet feel totally happy and not cramped. The detail is a nice change, too. I get plenty of compliments and I want more colors. Definitely a keeper!

Beauty and comfort - These shoes are a wonderful retro 40's look that has been updated to add comfort. I really appreciate the attention to detail in the accent color on the seams and the flower across the bridge of the foot. This shoe comes in a choice of widths including wide. It has a soft, flexible outer sole and a padded insole. This shoe is a beauty.

Adorable shoes that make your feet look small! These shoes are great! They are business-like enough for work but have enough pizzazz to keep you from feeling like another business drone. Only four stars for comfort because they aren’t as comfortable barefoot as they are with hose. I've had many compliments. I have the black leather and am thinking about getting the brown suede as well.

Cute, comfortable...slippery! I typically wear a size 9, but these shoes tend to run a bit small so I got an 8.5. Very cute and comfortable, I like them a lot! I do wish that the heel came straight down under the shoe, instead of being under-slung, but that's just my preference. One problem I am having is that the cover on the heel is a plastic that when it hits certain surfaces, like the polished concrete floors of the building where I work, the shoe shoots out from under me. I now walk across these floors on the ball of my foot, which makes me look like a geek, but it only happens twice a day. I will have that material replaced with something else as soon as I get to a shoe repair shop.

So sad I have to send them back...:0( I just may cry when I take these to the post office to mail them back. I ordered an 11W in the black suede, about a half size too big. Another pair of heels I ordered (Annie brand) in the same size fit perfectly. Absolutely super cute, super comfortable, I probably could wear a 10.5 but they don't have one! Waaaah! I think they look like Flamenco dancer shoes, which I've always liked. Enjoy all that have these!

Very cute shoe, inaccurate sizing - This is an adorable comfortable shoe, but the sizing is funny. I am usually a normal width but I ordered wide after reading the posts. The width fit, but the length was too long. So order wide and a half size down. Really cute shoe!
