- Heel and forefoot HydroFlow® - the best cushioning system in footwear. It absorbs shock, stabilizes the foot and returns energy back to the foot, stride after stride.
- Full-length S-257™ midsole compound formulated to decrease breakdown by 15% while providing excellent energy return and cushioning on every side.
- Full grain leather upper – soft, supple full grain leather upper comfortably wraps and support the foot.
- Extended Diagonal Rollbar™ (DRB) – dual density midsole with a larger, harder wedge-shaped EVA component on the medial side designed to stabilize the foot and minimize excessive pronation.

Wow. Who knew my feet and knees did not have to hurt at work? -
I use motion control running shoes but never thought about walking shoes at work where I walk A LOT on concrete and my knees tend to hurt due to bad over pronation and flat feet. I stumbled across this shoe, read the reviews and gave it a shot. All I can say is WOW. My knees do not hurt and I have more energy at work now. Just a great shoe for the over pronator.

Brooks addiction walker shoes -
We were very satisfied with the shoes; they were very comfortable with good support. The only complaint I might have, is that they were a little heavy. Was very happy with the very fast and free shipping. I do not usually buy shoes this way; will not hesitate to do it again.

Best fit for my odd foot -
My wide foot with narrow heel is hard to fit. Most shoes will have your heel flopping in the back, or a smaller size will still rub in back but squash the ball. This shoe is great. I had a professionally fitted shoe, and then ordered the next pair from Zappos. It was a perfect fit.

Wonderful at work -
I work 12 hour shifts, mostly standing and walking, and I bought this shoe hoping it would help with foot pain and fatigue. It has performed wonderfully. After wearing these shoes all day my feet are only slightly tired and have NO pain.

Happy Feet -
Absolutely the most comfortable shoe ever for me right out of the box. Maybe partly 'cause I could get the wide width with Zappos. Use them for long walks...only had them for a couple weeks but, so far, can't say enough good about them. Ended up buying a second pair.

Better than New Balance -
I have been a New Balance lover for years. All of my previous walking shoes have been NB. However I needed something sturdier for my flat feet and that held my orthotics... These are sturdy shoes and felt heavy when I first put them on but once I got used to them they were great. They run SMALL so I had to get the men’s shoe and go a size and half larger for them to feel comfortable. If you don’t wear orthotics maybe you can go one size up. It’s a good sturdy shoe and they don’t cost as much as NBs either

I have had this shoe before as it was recommended to me by physical therapy personnel as I was recovering from a badly injured foot and ankle. Outstanding support (I have flat feet) and comfortable. VERY true to size. That's why I bought another pair.

Like so much bought another -
My son had these for 9th grade and loved them (he has to have plain black shoes for high school). They are comfortable, and flexible, and apparently cool enough that he wanted another pair this year, because unfortunately, his feet are still growing. He is a size 12, his foot is average width. These are comfortable for 12 hour days, no problems at all.

Brooks Walking shoes - solid, light, and comfortable -
I have plantar fasciitis and a heel spur; Brooks shoes have been the best for me. This shoe, in particular, accepts orthotic inserts well and provides a solid, flat, stable foundation. Nice enough to wear with a nice pair of Dockers, too.
The people at Zappos are just fantastic...best customer service anywhere, Johnny on the Spot when you've got a problem, too!

Brooks addiction walker -
Having worn the Beast and Synergy versions for about six years I needed a new walker. The Addiction is a solid, all-black, comfortable shoe for all day on concrete. I tried the NB mw845 and the Addiction worked better with my orthotics. Do all shoe for shorts and casual dress.

Supreme Comfort For Walking -
Between the motion control and cushioning provided, the Addiction Walker is a comfort indeed. I take a 2 mile walk on concrete sidewalks every day and these shoes make it possible. I'm on my third pair and plan to replace them every 6 months for as long as I'm able to keep up my present pace.

The best flat ever!!! I have worn and loved flats for years and was excited to see this one. I now have 4 pair! I bought 2 pair in my usual size (8) and they are tight, but with a little more wear (I have not worn them much) I expect them to stretch to be quite comfortable. I also purchased 2 pair in 1/2 size larger (8.5) and they were comfortable on day one and soon stretched to feel like slippers. I wear my black 8.5 pair every day and love, love, love them. I would like to order several more pairs in the larger size just for back ups and the future, but Zappos seems to be out of stock in that size.

The perfect walking shoe!
I'm a large frame heavy build man and this is the only walking shoe that does not hurt my feet. Believe me I've tried them all and always suffered from heel, knee or hip pain. I also wear these shoes at work and they are great because I also have flat feet. This will always be the shoe for me. I highly recommend them.
