Snazzy shoe!
A very dashing shoe! I gave it to my rather conservative husband for his birthday, & he loved the traditional lines of the shoe, combined with the snazzy, contrasting woven & smooth leathers. The shoe is different, attractive, but not outrageous!

Shoes like a glove -
I have owned Allen-Edmonds shoes for years. I purchased a pair of these shoes 2 years ago and have loved them ever since I purchased them. I have had the soles of the original shoes redone several times. I am hard on my shoes being that I am on concrete all day long. These are the most comfortable shoes I have owned to date. When I say them on your web site, I just had to purchase another pair. The shoes have very good support, but I have very high arches so I also added an orthotic to my shoes. I guess the design of the weave of the shoes allow the shoe and the foot to breathe easier. Thank you for designing these shoes.

This is a well quality made shoe. All leather, wood sole, high quality materials. Also made in the USA. Felt true to size, being a 15 was a great fit. I have had them for almost a year now and have had no problems. Ordered me another pair today in a black.

AMAZING QUALITY -
I ordered a pair of Allen-Edmonds Hampstead shoes on a Sunday afternoon at home. The shoes arrived on Tuesday! Now that is superb service and I am now a confirmed Zappos customer. As for the shoes, these are hands down the finest shoes I have ever owned. When I opened the box I was simply awed by the quality. They are not just shoes but gorgeous hand-made works of art. I have owned plenty of the good brands - Johnston and Murphy, Bostonian, Florsheim, just to name a few - but they are not even in the same league as these and most, sad to say, are now made overseas. Allen-Edmunds has been hand- crafting their shoes in the USA since the1920's. It is comforting to know that Americans can still make the best stuff. And my new shoes are made in my home state of Wisconsin to boot!
Congratulations to Zappos and to Allen-Edmunds for being two first class companies.

Allen-Edmonds Hampstead -
The Hampstead 11.5, 3E has an excellent fit. The length and width is comfortable and can be worn for hours. I purchase three pairs of shoes at the same time (Allen-Edmonds Hampstead, Allen-Edmonds Manhattan and Allen-Edmonds Evanston) and the best fit and comfort goes to the Hampstead.

Great Shoe!
I have never paid as much for a shoe or been so satisfied I did the right thing. Fit like a glove and very comfortable from day one. Great looking departure from my classic wingtips, but not too far. I am a 14 d and crazy about Zappos service and selection.
