The Naot Marilyn is so comfortable! I like the style because it is not binding and is fully adjustable. It's a nice shoe to take traveling because it is light weight and doesn't take up much space in your suitcase. This is my second pair that I own. The arch support is great and helps make walking a pleasure.

This is my second pair of this style. I wore my first many times and it finally started to look shabby, so I was glad to be able to replace it. I love the cork inner sole that conforms to my feet (like my old Birkenstocks) and the rubber outer sole. These shoes are comfortable both for standing and for walking.

I really like the Naot Marilyn! It's quite comfortable, nice looking and provides excellent support. It is very lightweight and fits well for walking. I did order a half size larger than normal and it fits just fine. I would buy this style and brand again if there were more colors available. I bought the copper (brown) leather shoe.

This was my second pair of Naots. I had a pain in my left heel that got worse and worse. I tried heel pads and that helped, but when I googled 'shoes to alleviate heel pain' Naots popped up. When they arrived the next day, I couldn't believe it. Instant results for my foot pain. They fit well, even though I have a wide foot. I just bought the style with adjustable straps. I have two pair and wear them exclusively! They are great.

Love these sandals for my plantar fasciitis inflicted feet. I’ve had them for about six months. I wear them every day around the house. They comfortable for long walks, too. From an appearance perspective, I consider them more neutral than cute, which I’m satisfied with for the level of comfort. They look better peeking out of jeans than they do with shorts, as they are little clunky for bare legs. (Naot Valerie is better for shorts/skirts.) I tried over a dozen different walking sandals before being very happy with these. The copper color is subtle, not too bright or metallic.

Marilyn Naot sandal - I liked the fit of the sandal and it worked well for my narrow foot, but I am still not sure if I am going to keep them because I am still not completely sold on the color. It is called copper, but is more like a light bronze.

I do love this shoe - this is my 3rd pair!! Very, very comfy & they look nice too for a hip gal with problem feet & a bad ankle. First pair were black in a 39, my usual EU size. But since then all have been a little short, so I'm wearing a 40 (as I write this). The padding went a little flat after many miles of wear, plus the elastic broke, thus the 2nd pair, and then a 3rd in the Bronze, which is very nice looking too. I wish they had lasted longer, but do feel that they are worth it. Being able to walk comfortably in a sandal is a must!

Hallelujah! I had high hopes for these, since they were in the "elegance" collection (narrower than other Naots). But these shoes surprised me by being probably the best-fitting shoes I've ever tried on. Soooo comfortable! I have a high arch, a low in-step, one fallen arch, narrow heels and wide forefeet. Plus, I'm persnickety. Although I think these shoes could look just a little more refined, after putting them on, I am reluctant to never, ever take them off!!! Great arch support, no chafing, and they fit like a glove. P.S. I did have to tighten the back strap all the way – and plan to take them to a cobbler to have the strap shortened.

Finally, a pair of walking sandals - I have looked for years for a pair of sandals that could be worn on long walks without rubbing and that had good support. These are them! They were comfortable right away and did not need to be broken in. The straps are soft and did not irritate my feet. They are not clunky looking - they have a more sleek appearance than others brands that make similar styles. The footbed is supportive and conforms to your foot after a short amount of wear. My only complaint is the straps do not have enough velcro to allow them to be tightened very much - and I did need to tighten these quite a bit (actually all the way - as tight as the design of the shoe would allow) even though I have a medium width foot. So I added some velcro, but now the ends of the straps stick out. Oh well, they are comfortable enough to make it worth it - I can take them to a shoe repair and have the straps shortened. Overall, the most comfortable sandal I have ever tried.

Good for narrow feet - So far so good -- I haven't worn these for very long yet, but I am really pleased with them so far. I have narrow, low-volume feet and it is so hard to find sandals that are fully adjustable but not really dowdy looking. These are reasonably attractive and they FIT! They seem as narrow as many AA shoes even though they are called "medium" width. Plus, my feet lack sufficient natural cushioning on the soles so many shoes are uncomfortable for me to walk in (I usually wear orthotics). These sandals have excellent arch support and shock absorption -- I think they're the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn! I wear a size 9.5 sneaker and the size 40 is perfect.

2nd pair - the most comfortable sandal I own! I love sandals - but have trouble feet - a bad ankle (broken years ago, several surgeries, arthritis) and I'm flat footed. My feet hurt most of the time. But not in this shoe. I add a little gel insert that sticks on to provide an enhanced heel-cushion and a little more arch support and I'm good to go. Only thing is that the straps don't tighten as much as I need, so I added more velcro so I could make them snugger. That's how much I love walking in this shoe; I'm willing to do whatever to make it work for me. And it pays off as I can walk much further in hot weather or when traveling if I'm wearing them. They're a little short though. I'm usually a 39, but I had to get a 40 for the 2nd pair. They seem to have made them a little smaller than they were last year. Whatever - I love them anyway!

A million miles - True confessions: my current pair of Marilyn’s (two years old) is still going strong after what seems like a million miles (including a trip to Europe, walking everywhere). Out of fear they will wear out one day, I just bought a second pair to stash in my closet. I have a long, narrow foot and these fit beautifully. A brilliant combination of immense comfort and feminine style (not your usual drab or 'orthopedic' looking walking shoe). I LOVE them and was relieved to find they are still available.

Excellent comfort type sandal - I have narrow feet so I liked the ability to adjust both straps on the top of this sandal. The first pair had a broken back strap but the second pair was fine. The copper is an unusual color but is attractive for this type of comfort sandal. The underside of the strap over the toes rubbed a bit at the first weeks of wearing but eventually went away. I had previously bought Naot's Kayla and no such problems but that sandal is not as adjustable. Zappos as always has excellent customer service.

Adjustable straps make this work! I loved the Kayla's, however 1 size was a little too short for my toes... the next size up was way too big. So I tried the Marilyn’s with the adjustable straps. That worked perfectly! I was sorry to have to send back the Kayla's though. But the Marilyn is a great substitute.

Love these sandals - These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever had. I wear them every chance I get. The best part is that they are fully adjustable with velcro at the ankle and across the toes. They also have a bit of elastic on the ankle strap that allows freedom of movement.

COMFY NAOT SHOES!!! The most comfortable sandals I've every worn! The footbed is incredibly moldable, the arch is perfect for me, and the shoes look very nice. After I'd worn the shoes a couple of days, the only problem I've experienced is the upper strap stretching just slightly. In so doing, it's now no longer tight enough on either foot, being off by maybe an 1/8". And, there's no way to just add a new hole because of the manner in which the velcro is applied. Also, that same strap is too long on a narrow foot, so it sticks out. Other than that, I feel like I'm walking on air when I wear them. Also, I've been a staunch advocate of Mephistos for the last five years. I've just changed my loyalty to NAOT. Thanks, Zappos, for such great service!
