Zappos & Ecco Both the Real Deal - Zappos, as always, a great site. The shoes are just as represented. Sizing (42), looks, and quality all as described.

ECCO Delight - I've bought 7 pairs of Eccos over the last 10 years. My first was at a trade show in 1998 where I was doing 12hrs on my feet. My wife bought me the casual shoe and brought them to me. I had never had anything on my feet so comfortable and light. I've not worn any other since except for my sneaks (Reebok) since and have just purchased 2 more pair one black and 1 brown. Wearing the black ones now. Virtually no break in period and very stylish. Mucho Kudos

Handsome Is - The sizing is a bit screwy. The same size I had in an earlier version of the shoe was too big this time. Zappos of course made it easy to exchange, and the new size fits perfectly. There is a slight, unpleasant tightness across the arch, but I expect this will fade as I wear the shoe in. The look is superb, and worth the slight initial discomfort.

Not as comfortable as I'd hoped - I've owned several pair of Ecco Cross shoes before and have a couple pair now. The Cross model are extremely comfortable, have good support (I stand on a hard surface all day when I'm working), and require zero break-in. I wanted something that looked a little better with slacks and would be equally as comfortable. After reading the reviews, it looked like the Business Comfort Slip On would fill the bill. It may be my feet, but I find some irritation where the crease in the right toe has developed. We'll see how it goes. Also, they need a little more break-in around the ankle as they are more rigid than the Cross. Regarding Ecco generally: I usually wear a size 9. Ordered a 43 Cross originally, which proved too large. 42 is perfect. So just be aware of that. Same with the Slip On - 42 is equal to a size 9.

After 4 hours, painful! I tried very hard to like these shoes. I've had them for over a year now. At first, they felt very comfortable and looked good. I was happy, but consistently (as in: every single time I've worn them) they begin to hurt the tops of my feet BADLY after about 4-6 hours. I've never experienced this with a shoe and I don't have oddly shaped feet. I think the elastic on the sides may not have enough give and over time the pressure against the top of my feet starts to really hurt. I've worn these shoes for a total of about 30-40 days over the past year hoping they'd finally break in (also tried shoe trees for a couple of months). No improvement. If I knew I'd never have to have them on for longer than about 2 hours on a given day, I'd probably like them a lot (5 stars for comfort, 4 for looks). They've been a constant disappointment (especially for the price).

Great Shoe - I bought this shoe for my husband who is on his feet many hours a day. He says this shoe is very comfortable. From other reviews I saw that this shoe runs large so I bought him a size smaller than he usually wears and it fit him perfectly. Zappos is wonderful. You receive your shoes quickly and they make the return process easy. Thank you!!

Super shoes - Honestly, I was shocked that Zappos contacted me a year later with a follow up on the original pair of Ecco's I purchased. When I inquired about the brown color in the same shoe, I was told they weren't available. Just a few days later I was notified that they were indeed in stock. I quickly ordered them and as expected I received my order the next day. I am delighted with Zappos, and delighted with the Ecco shoes as there is virtually no break in period as they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Thanks to all!

Great Shoe - As light as my running shoes.

Stylish and Comfortable - My wife helped me pick these out. She felt they were just dressy enough and stylish without being too formal. She was right. The upper could have been a tad less rounded over the toe, for my taste, but still a great shoe. Comfy, as most Ecco’s are.

ECCO BUSINESS COMFORT SLIP ON - FANTASTIC SHOE -- EVEN FOR ECCO. Having bought several similar shoes in the past few years, I can state categorically that these were the easiest to break in to. I bought these shoes to wear for work both casual and dress. They are extremely comfortable and a great looking shoe. ECCO is the best. They are a little more money, but well worth it. And, of course, you won’t find a better online site than ZAPPOS for buying shoes. The service and the selection are fantastic..... I highly recommend both ECCO and ZAPPOS!!!
