Pure Bliss. The smell, look and comfort of my first Frye Boots has me looking for other styles of Frye's. Simply no break-in discomfort and lots of love from my wife for how they look on me. In fact, she has me wearing my boots and a smile to bed every night. I would recomend them over any footwear for any occasion or activity (including bed-time activity).

THE boot! I've had these for years. Looked great and felt great out of the box. Look better and feel better after all this time. Still get comments from friends who've seen them over and over again. Rugged and built to last. A great investment.

Awesome as Usual! I bought these boots for my husband because his 10 year old Frye boots were falling apart after three sole and heel replacements. I decided that it was time for him to have a new pair. He still wears his old pair for his "dirty" work. Thank you so much for carrying products that are durable and totally AWESOME!

12R Harness Boot - I've been wearing this boot since I was 17 years old. That's 30 years of comfort and true fit. Frye boots are very durable. 1 pair will give you years of comfort.

About Frye
Frye's current Harness Boots are rooted in tradition and continue to draw influence from the Cavalry. Today the classic Harness Boot holds a place in American culture. The Frye Harness Boot has been pictured in fashion spreads internationally. In 1938, on a trip to Washington, D.C., John A. Frye's grandson and namesake met a U.S. Navy Admiral who confided that he had trouble finding the Wellington boots he liked so much. As a favor, John agreed to make him a pair. Frye continued to fill requests for these boots through the Second World War. During World War II, Frye supplied thousands of servicemen with Frye Wellington boots, known as Jet Boots, by mail order.
In the 1960's, Frye reintroduced the Campus Boot, from its 1860 original, featuring a bulky toe and chunky heel that came to epitomize the attitude and the style of the 60's and 70's. There was nothing like these "new" Frye Boots on the market, and consumers began to demand "Original Fryes." When searching for items to represent the America of the 60's, the Smithsonian Institute chose a pair of Frye Boots.
The quality of all Frye shoes is timeless. For almost 150 years, Frye leather products have continued to be benchcrafted from the finest full grain leather uppers. It takes over 190 steps to make one pair of Frye boots. Frye remains dedicated to the commitment of craftsmanship for which Frye boots and Frye shoes have been known for more than 100 years.

Great Boot - These boots are true to size and are very comfortable. I ride a Harley and needed anther pair of solid, good looking bike boots. Never having purchased shoes over the internet, sight unseen, I was a bit skeptical. However, the boots broke in well and quickly and Zappos' service was superior. Enjoy these! Only drawback is that they are not waterproof- but they are not advertised as such.

Rockstar fully realized - These boots are magical. I love 'em more in person than in the picture. Once I put them on, I can click my heels three times, and be wisked away to another place. The only problem is once adorned, it is quite difficult to remove them. : )

Exceeded my expectations! I have had quite a few pairs of harness boots I bought from Harley-Davidson dealers. None of them compared to my first pair of Frye Belted Harness boots I received yesterday. They are the most comfortable harness boot I have ever had and also the best looking. Once you put them on, you don't want to take them off! Buying from Zappos is easy and fast. They seem to always upgrade our shipping so we receive the boots in 2 to 3 days. My wife recently had to return some boots and the return procedure is totally painless including being able to print out the UPS shipping label on your printer. I highly recommend the Frye Belted Harness 12R boot and I highly recommend Zappos.

Harness boots - The boots are great. I have purchased them in the past and was very satisfied wiht the quality. As a side note, Zappos service was great. Tough Boot for a Tough City - I've wanted these boots for years and finally bought a pair -- am I glad I did. First off, they look great -- with the right jeans you can't miss. Second, and maybe even more important, they don't just feel good on your feet, they make you feel great from head to toe -- you can't help but strut when you wear these boots -- it's just the way they're built. And by the way, they're tough as nails. I've been using them to commute to work every day on the New York City subway -- feels like you can step on or over anything -- or anyone, if needed.
Brands I'd also recommend: Frye makes good cowboy boots, too. Justins are also good, if you want something a little more slick.

Great boot - These boots are the real deal. Sturdy construction and high quality leather. The boot is quite stiff, not only in the sole but in the upper area. They fit snugly but a bit tight with athletic socks. These boots feel solid and I expect they will last many years

Great boot for Walking and Riding - Great looking boot. A bit more expensive than other similar looking brands, but 'belted' styling and Frye name set this one apart. Felt good after all day walking and riding motorcycle.

My favourite motorcycle boot - A great looking boot,when I ride my Harley I can't help but feel safe with such workmanship surrounding my feet.Unfortunely for my pocketbook I now have to buy the new wheat colour belted harness, they look awesome.

Exactly As I Hoped - I have not had a pair of Frye boots in 30 years. Prior to that, I practically lived in them. Deciding I was now old enough to be eccentric, I gave into a whim, ordered a pair from Zappos, and have been again living in them, wearing them to work every day. They fit just right, look terrific and are breaking in easily and perfectly.
