These soft are soft and substantial. They hold their body after several washings and don\'t grow thin or tear apart. My kid loves them.

Super soft and comfortable - These socks are thick, soft and very comfortable, and have a fully padded foot (they're not thinner on top, like many cheaper crew socks). The 2x1 ribbing on the shaft looks a bit retro; I wish Wigwam would make this same formulation in a tube sock, or crew sock with 1x1 ribbing on the shaft. Also, unfortunately, Wigwam has changed the formulation for Advantage over the years. The original model was made mostly from Orelle acrylic and was incredibly soft, but not very durable. Then Wigwam changed to 88% Duraspun + 20% Lumiza acrylic + 12% nylon, which was not as soft as the original, but was more durable. The current model has still more nylon (18%), and is again not as soft/comfortable as the previous two versions.

This is a nice thick, cushioned sock. The seams are flat and don't irritate my toes. They are about average in wear.

Socks. White. Not too tight. Not so loose they end up around my ankles. Laundered up nicely after a single washing. They seem comparable to most socks, better than many, not as good as the best I've had, but not too much per pair, either. I bought a case and I'm happy with the quality and the price and the fact they are made in USA. I wouldn't have bought a case if they were imported, but that's just me.

Pretty darn good - Insufficient "give" at sock opening. Material is comfortable, but the tight opening into the sock could be a problem for diabetics.
Brands I'd also recommend: Wigwam has other products that are suitable.

Wigwam Black Sport Socks - I look for socks with little to no cotton so that they will not fade. Wigwam has always proven to be a good brand, and these socks are great. The only problem I have with them is that after several months even though the sock in general holds up just fine, the sock starts to get thin right over the large toe area.

This is not the same sock I have been buy ing for years. It is much thinner, the ribbing is wider and there is a noticable band at the top. Make sure you look at the picture when re-ordering.

What has happened to these once perfect socks? They used to be very thick and fit was perfect. Now they are thin and wear out at all the pressure points on the ball and heel of the foot. Too bad Wigwam, you should go back to the old sock.

The quality of this sock has really gone downhill. The material is thinner and the elastic at the top is too tight but still slides down. The overall size is too small to comfortably fit a size 14 (and I have narrow feet) even though it is supposed to fit up to a 15. I'd give it zero stars if that was an option.
