Old Skool look for hip little kids!!! These shoes are great. My son loves them, and they go with just about everything. He is comfortable in them, runs around like a mad man, and even plays on his dad's skateboard in them! I ordered them a half size larger than what he normally wears so they would fit him well. A good friend of the family is in the shoe industry and told me to buy a half size larger when purchasing Vans.

Great shoe! My daughter lvoes red and adores the red checkered Van's. She is 2 1/2 and the velcro allows her to put the shoes on by herself which is great too. I usually stick to Stride Right but these are great.
Brands I'd also recommend: stride right

These shoes are so funny. I love the reaction from people (old ladies) when they realize my son (18 months) is wearing shoes with skulls on them. They're adorable. I didn't rank them very high on comfort, only because my son's feet are 5 double wide, and Vans doesn't offer wide sizes that I know of.
Brands I'd also recommend: converse

Vans Old Skool - We bought this shoe for my 5 year old. "Everyone but the girls likes his shoes." They have skulls on them. We bought Vans because my husband wears them - haven't been disappointed yet.

Super cool shoe--but too narrow - I love Vans but for some reason the toddler shoes run pretty narrow. I tried to order a half size larger but that did not help much. As my 3yrold is breaking them in, he is complaining less about them being too tight but they do seem much narrower than many other kid’s shoes.
Brands I'd also recommend: K-Swiss

Very Narrow Fit... Shoe is very narrow, so my son will not wear them since he says they hurt his feet. It is a shame because they are great looking shoes...he picked them himself!

So cool! Love these shoes, wish I was a young boy so I could look so cool. Although my son is young, so don't know how comfortable first hand, he loves putting them on and does not try to take them off through out the day (a good sign). We will definitely buy more as the feet continue to grow!

Ok shoe. They do not have much arch support and aren't very flexible so my son "trips" over the toe every so often. They do seem to be true to size and have a good look. I was concerned at first that they wouldn't match many of his outfits (I bought the black & green) but they don't stand out that much and go with pretty much anything. Also, the toe and ankle are suede so they work for winter.

Great Shoes! My son has very wide feet. I have a hard time getting shoes with normal width on his feet. These shoes are a great fit for him and take any beating that he gives them. Vans are not only adorable, but are easy and fast to put on because of the velcro. Vans are the only shoes that my son wears and there are so many styles/color choices that he gets a different pair every time. GREAT SHOES!!!

Print rubs off - Great shoes. My 18 mo. old loves them. My only complaint is that the decal/design on the canvas is already rubbing off and we have only had them for a month. Perhaps better to go with plain canvas or canvas design rather than any of the prints (like the rockets, bugs, octopus, etc.)

My little man LOVES these - These are so stylish. Old Skool with the new flair. My son picked these out himself. He was so excited when they got here. I was so happy with the style and ease of the velcro. With 4 kids and he being my 2 yr old these are heaven sent! Great purchase! Will buy more for my youngest!

Truly happy toddler - Again my son loves this shoe they are roomy enough that he doesn’t feel constricted in any way yet they stay on his feet when he runs they are not as light as the DC's but they are in no way heavy either.
