I have 3 pair, and have been wearing one pair for seven years. I put them on even before the snow melts in March or April, in New Hampshire, and I return to boots when it begins to snow, usually November or December. I do everything in them - walk for at least 10 hours a day in places like NYC, Amsterdam, and the Dominican Republic, play tennis and basketball, work on my property. They are comfortable and indestructible.

Okay, like everyone else was saying on here, order this 1 size smaller than what you normally wear. I was worried when I first ordered a 9 (I'm normally a 10), but when it came it fit perfectly! And it was ridiculously comfortable. Easily the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn!

Nice looking shoe and very comfortable. First time owning a pair of Clarks. Generally in the past I have purchased Born. Not too fond of the closed toe style as seen with Born and most other brands offered today. That's what lead me to Clarks; I prefer the open toe design as seen with this model of shoe. Nice style and well made. Substantially lighter in weight than Born.

I purchased these sandals for my brother-in-law (I already had a pair). He loves them! And I love Zappos fast delivery. I strongly recommend Clark's sandals (best on the market in my opinion) and Zappos as the place to buy them.

I bought these for my husband who only wears flip flops, he loves them! The velcro closure keeps them snug and the little loop in the back makes them easy to slide on the foot. This is a fashion challenged man, but he really is enjoying his new sandals.

Hallelujah, my husband will wear sandals! These shoes are "manly" enough to convince my husband that the word "sandal" could exist in his shoe wardrobe. They are extremely comfortable, and the first pair we bought held up for 3 years of near constant wearing in the six months of summer we have in Texas! The sizing is good - it matches his usual dress shoe size. The adjustable strap allows wiggle room when your foot swells in the heat. They clean up nicely with a little clear polish if that sort of thing matter to you. They are comfortable for hours of wear. (I took a star off of the rating simply because I wouldn't say they are exactly dripping with style!)

This was actually an exact replacement for a pair that I purchased a couple of years ago and wore out. They're very comfortable and I live in them much of the summer. The only problem I've had is with the Velcro coming loose on one strap. Great product - well loved!

Great shoes! My husband is hard to fit and please, but he loved these immediately. Definitely heed the comments about this shoe running very large. I normally order him a size 8 and this time I ordered a 7 as suggested. It fit perfectly!

I bought these sandals for my husband who is very picky about his footwear and does not replace until shoes/sandals are worn out! He loved these! I ordered a size smaller after reading other reviews and that was correct. He has narrow feet and these seemed to work well.

These are very nice, comfortable sandals. My husband has a wide foot with a high arch, and it had been difficult to find a sandal with a good fit locally. These are perfect and stylish too. Excellent service from Zappos.

I bought this pair for my husband. It's very difficult to buy shoes for him because he has very wide feet, a high arch, and zero tolerance for discomfort. But we've had good experience with Clarks, and I figured I could return them at no cost anyway if they did not fit. Lo and behold, they were perfect at first try! Thanks again, Clarks!

My husband loves these sandals! They are so comfortable for him to wear all day. The style makes them a bit 'dressier' than normal sandals which is great. This is my husband's second pair. They do run a little big. He always wears a size 10, but we had to order a size 9.

I purchased the Clarks Merrimack sandal for a recent trip to Disney World and knew that I would be on my feet a lot, standing in lines, walking, etc...I had worn out my old sandals, which were Timberlands, but the reviews on the Clarks sandals were so positive I thought I would give them a try. I ordered them, received them the next day. I immediately started wearing them, no break in time was needed, and three days later was off to Florida. Not only did I make the right decision in purchasing these sandals, they are hardly ever off of my feet. They are one of the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn.

I have been buying Clark\'s Sandals for many years now. The fit, comfort and durability of these outstanding sandals are everything you want in a sandal, and they look GREAT!! My last pair, which I still have were bought in 2002, seven years!! Of which I wore those sandals almost every day. That\'s a lot of wear and tear from somebody like me. Now I use them for a spare when gardening, and getting dirty, and my new pair for getting out and looking good!

Wide foot with high instep - ordering second pair - I just ordered my second pair of Merrimacks. My old ones are about four years old. I hadn't ever had sandals other than flip-flops because I am so hard to fit – 12 1/2 5E with a high instep. I bought my first pair at a store and have always loved them. Only problem with the old ones is that the soles are starting to separate. Being the cheapo that I am, I tried fixing them with Liquid Nail and furniture clamps. No luck. Very short break-in period. I live in Florida, so I wear them from March through October, and sometimes even longer. They're my favorite shoes! I can't go to Disney without them. Standing in line in any other shoe kills me. When I went to order today, I was startled to see that my old ones were an 11M. I was afraid that that was a European size, or something, and didn't know what to order. I ordered the 11M and the other reviews confirm that it is correct. They're worth the money. Or maybe even more.

Monk-like sandals with class, size 11D - Not a sandal-wearer was surprised when this size 11D sandal fit well. My regular shoe size now (at age 77), 12 or 12.5EEE; used to be 10.5. I think the sandal straps are forgiving as well as flexible. So, my comment on size, below, is meant as a positive. Now when I go to a Franciscan retreat house I will have appropriate and better-looking footwear than theirs!
