Very comfortable! I ordered a half size larger than I usually wear but had to exchange the shoe for my size. I called Zappos at 8pm for the return and by 9am the next morning UPS was at the door with my new pair and picked up the box that did not fit. Great service. The color I ordered, Peanut Grizzly, was darker than pictured.

I have always loved Dr. Marten's from the first pair I got 15 years ago. They have a very comfortable sole and well put together. If comfort, style and a shoe that can take a lick and last, I recommend Dr. Marten's. I seen model number 8287, they said where great for hiking to motorcycle then walk in to the office with pants. I just went on the picture, and previous experience, this pair sole is kind of see through and they have a middle portion that is not one piece, when your foot moves around the arch the middle separates where the foot bends, has bounce to your step. Most boot are stiff are have a break in time, this pair was comfortable from the start, then they kind of mold to your foot. I was very pleased. I have been getting shoes from Zappos for about 6 years and they have your shoes there quick, and free. This time they said since I have been a good customer they sent them air and had them the next day. All I can say is great selections, great prices. You do not have to get off the couch.

Perfect boot for transition from motorcycle to workplace. Solid feel, protects ankles, and looks office job appropriate with khakis. But get two pair, these are possibly the best hikers I\'ve ever owned.

I bought these shoes to wear to work. I am a chef and I am on my feet all day. These shoes fit the bill, they are comfortable and supportive. I have had several pairs of Docs in the past and these held up to their reputation. Easy to wear right out of the box. Very comfortable and look great. As usual Zappos is the best! I could not ask for more.

I really like this boot. It was exactly what I was looking for. I did need to exchange it fora smaller size though so I would recommend getting a size smaller than what you usually wear. They are a little heavy but I was expecting that. Overall a good work boot.

You get exactly what you expect with these shoes. They look good and they're comfortable. I average about 2 city miles a day in them and there was a breaking in period of about a week, but now they fit to my foot and are extremely comfortable. I've only had them a month so far but they feel like they'll last a long time.

Sole heavy. Good toe box. Limited arch support needs inserts. I have worn these every day (14 hours plus) out doors in sub zero weather. The extra room allowed 2 pairs wool socks. Worked well, excellent traction.

I wear a size 16 US; these low top boots are US size 15. They fit great, with even a schooch more room. I like these boots very much. Perhaps a slight complaint or bother is that they are heavy in weight (I have never owned Doc Martens). Otherwise, great boots.

I have a dozen pair of Doc's, and these boots are as good as they come. Comfortable right out of the box. I have a narrow heel, a wide thick foot, a high instep and arch. Their finish and obvious quality are typical Dr. Martens hallmarks. Zappos delivered in one day, as they have many of my recent purchases (I'm a big Zappos user and an original, unyielding fan). Zappos and Dr Martens, no better combo exists!
