Product Information:
- You may be more comfortable sizing downward for open-back models (for example, if you are a US size 6.5, you may want to choose EU size 36).
- Your heel should be either even with or slightly forward of the back of the clog.
- Toes should not hit the front of the clog.
- Dansko's most traditional open-back style with lightly padded instep collar.
- High quality leather upper follows the natural contours of the foot.
- Oiled Leather is a heavily oiled, matte-finish leather with optimal pliability and moisture resistance. Oiled Nubuck has the same closely napped, silky feel as Nubuck, but with noticeably more oil tanned into the leather. Naturally occurring blemishes are slightly more visible in these tannages and suggest a more rugged appearance. Latigo leather has a smooth, tight grain and semi-gloss to transparent finish.
- Instep collar is generously padded.
- Roomy Thermoplastic toe box provides durable reinforcement and toe protection while allowing toes to move comfortably.

Awesome on the go shoes!
I am a size 10 so I bought the size 40 (9.5-10 US size). It fits just right and I can see how you don't want to buy a bigger size because you can slip and slide while walking. I have the red Cordovan Cabrio and it is my first red shoe. The red tone is subtle enough to easily wear with many different outfits--with a skirt, dress, shorts, capris, jeans, slacks. Also usable for day or casual evenings out. I bought this to use to and from my dance classes that I teach. Easy to wear, comfortable, and fashionable.

I bought these for my mom because she has plantar fasciitis and she has not stopped raving about them. She said that the pain at the sole of her feet is completely unnoticeable when she has on the shoes. These shoes have a nice thick, well-cushioned sole. I have to caution that they do take some time to break-in, though, especially if you have a wide toe-box. My mom recommended using one of those shoe devices to stretch out the toe box.

Clog -
Great shoe. Last pair lasted at least ten years. A little stiff at first. My favorite shoe for airline traveling and those annoying security shoe-off checks. Not recommended for uneven terrain - easy to turn your ankle.

Great travel shoe -
This is my second pair of Dansko's Sonja and I found these just as wonderfully comfortable as the first. I used them for a recent trip to Europe because they are so comfortable for walking, easy to slip off in the airport, and on the plane and good looking enough to wear out to dinner with black pants.

I LOVE these shoes! I started wearing them right away and they feel almost like an old favorite pair already. They should soften up with a little wear, which will definitely make these my new favorites.

These are my favorite shoes. I wear them whenever I can. They are comfortable for long hours of standing & walking. Great arch support for those of us with high arches & firm toe box structure as recommended by my orthopedic surgeon. The clogs look cute with jeans.

Clog happy!
Love Dansko clogs, this my first backless pair. Needed to have the edge across the top loosened (as with other Danskos), but very happy now. Fine with wool socks or barefoot, but dangerous if wearing thin sock or stockings because shoe tends to jet out in front of me, leaving my foot behind! This may be the nature of any backless clog, however. I like Danskos very much. Excellent for folks with high arches.

The best clogs, but a bit wide -
I've always loved these clogs -- my 3rd pair -- but they really are too wide. I'm between N and M with most shoes, so I expected these to be a little wide, but in order to keep these on my feet I have to wear two pair of rather thick socks. They seem wider than M. That said, I had ordered 8 pair of clog candidates, and kept coming back to these. They last forever, are a classic look and are my morning staple for walking our dog.

Great Shoe to Stand In -
If you're looking for a clog that is very comfortable to stand in and looks good - this is it! I wouldn't want to attempt to power walk a mile in them, but for work where I stand constantly and walk in a very small area - these are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever owned!

Is the manufacturer different?
I've had 3 pairs of Dansko Sonja, size 35, over the years. This was the first time, it didn't fit very well, nor did it feel as comfortable as the others. Usually, I feel like Cinderella, it fits perfectly--and is so comfortable. I asked for another pair, same size--and viola--a better fit, but not as comfortable as the other pairs I have worn in the past.

They’re Working -
I bought these shoes because the ones I really wanted were out of stock (Berkies for work). I have always heard this shoes is really great for work, I am a cook so I tried them. At first they killed my feet, but I have worn them for about three weeks and they are great. It just took some time to get used to them.

Good clogs -
Zappos service is of course top of the line, and I would recommend them to anyone. I have been a Dansko fan for years, and have three pairs of their closed back clogs (Dansko Professional). However, these open back clogs feel a bit more like your foot is falling forward into the toe, although the arch support is very good. I don't feel that way with the closed back clog, as they seem to be flatter. These Dansko Sonja's are still very well made and great clogs for slipping on and off quickly though, but I would not wear them all day as I do the closed back clogs.

I have 2 pairs of Sonjas that I ordered about a year ago in size 41. Reordered last week and the 41 no longer fits, is too small. I will see how the 42 fits. I wonder if they have changed the lasts. My husband who has the same size feet as me and recently developed plantar fasciitis tried my brown Sonjas and now won't wear anything else. So now I get a new pair of Dansko's.

Best Shoes Ever -
I absolutely LOVE these shoes!! I received them about 2 weeks ago and I haven't worn any other shoes since...Honestly! They did take about 2-3 days of wear to break them in, but it wasn't so bad and it was well worth it. The only place that felt "sore" was on the top of my foot, everything else felt fine. I highly recommend these shoes if you are like me and have painful feet by the end of the day and can barely walk. I didn't experience that at all with these shoes. I Love Them!!

Not very comfortable -
This shoe is beautiful, but not suitable to wear for long hours because it does not have a cushioned insole. The soles and insole are hard plastic. I was expecting something more comfortable all day. Very disappointing.
