I love these sandals! However, why do my feet always stink after wearing them? I have 4 pair and change them out daily. I feel like they are good for a year and then I have to get new pairs because of the odor. It happens with my Naots as well, so it must be my foot interacting with the cork. I don't even wear them in the winter! Does anyone else have this problem? Thank you! Really appreciate any suggestions!

The most comfortable sandals you'll ever buy. I have wide feet and a very high instep and after having foot surgery this is the only sandal I can wear. Great arch support. Lots of great color options. After a while they loosen up but that's no problem because you can just adjust the strap! I've worn Mephistos for years; however, since my surgery I've had to switch from the Ularia to the Helen. Mephisto sandals are the best and last forever. It's just a matter of finding the right one for you!

Simply the best foot-cradle sandals... I own several colors, and keep coming back to add to my 'wardrobe'! I wear a US size 8, but find that the EU size 39 works best for me in these sandals, as my foot sits comfortably within the 'rim' of the footbed. Excellent value, considering the anatomical design, comfort, and durability. Can walk for hours!

I selected these shoes during a search for summer sandals that I can walk in and I'm happy to say I like them so much that they've become fall sandals that I can walk in! I wear prescription orthotics (to correct overpronation) in regular shoes and have to go without them in sandals. These sandals have enough arch support and hold on my feet, thanks to the adjustable strap, that I am comfortable for long days of walking. On the style side: I tried similar Birkenstocks and Tevas and I found the Mephistos to be more feminine and less chunky in appearance.

I have plantar fasciitis and this is the only shoe that helps me. Both my daughters also wear them and introduced them to me. We all have at least 2 pair. I just sent a pair over to Australia where I have a friend who also has plantar fasciitis - she received them the other day and just loves them. Said they make her feet feel so good and sure they will see a lot of wear during the upcoming summer. A must buy! You won't regret it, money well spent.

These sandals are as attractive as they look online. The fit is true to size and they are very comfortable. No break-in time to speak of. I love Zappos, I have never been disappointed by either product or especially, customer service. Recommend them to all.

These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes in my closet! I own several pairs as I am walking all day while working with children. I later purchased a pair for my mother after she had knee surgery, she is now hooked as well. I agree with another buyer that the sizes may differ from one color to the next but with Zappos' exchange policy it has never been a problem to get the right fit!. My suggestion, is not to think twice about buying these sandals!

These have become one of my favorites. The arch is very good which is always good. I tend to have a narrow foot (or at least used to be) and they pretty much just fit. Started with a brown pair and liked and wore them so much I ordered another in black. In my opinion they are as attractive as comfy. Just a very good all around sandal.

This is my third pair of Helen sandals. I wear other styles/brands too, but these are so comfortable that I almost use them as slippers. My defaults seem to be Mephisto Helen in warm weather and Sanita Professional in cold weather! The stellar Zappos service is beyond words!

First of all, Zappos is great, professional and helpful. I purchased Helen in a size up, wasn't sure about the fit, but everyone said they run small so I went with it. Decided to try the smaller size, much better fit. The tan ones I got started to squeak, I believe that means the shank is broken, Zappos returned and replaced. Love my new shoes, very comfortable, great support, color is just like the pic. and no squeak! Also got the black waxy leather, very classy!

I love Mephisto and these are my favorites. I'd wear them year round if I could. And one of the best things about Mephisto is that when the shoes finally get old, you can send them back for a refurbishing and get an essentially new pair of shoes for a little more than half the cost.

I was very impressed with my experience at Zappos online. I purchased shoes I was familiar with and knew my size and what I wanted, but was confused as to color and finish/texture. I ordered what I thought I wanted, but wound up not liking the finish and Zappos paid for the shipping to/from on both shipments when I returned them and reordered. I ended up using the chat with a sales person feature. He was extremely helpful. I would definitely use Zappos again, not just for shoes but for other products.
