I bought this shoe in cordovan about a week ago and wore them to my son's high school graduation this past weekend. Very stylish and very comfortable. I have "problem" feet and normally wear orthotics in my shoes. I didn't need them with this pair. My only complaint with these shoes is the laces--they're slick and tend to loosen with a lot of walking.

This shoe appeared to be a near duplicate of a Dockers model which was super comfortable. However, I overlooked the description of a “padded collar” which actually takes about 2 sizes off of the length of the shoe. The collar would more accurately be called a garrote and will have you sitting shoeless with blisters within two hours.

Practical and affordable - This shoe is enormously comfortable, water resistant, and sturdily made. But the styling is even more conservative than I thought. If you wear a suit to work, that's all to the good, but I wear jeans and the shoes look a bit out of place. Given the price, it's an excellent value.

Reasonably priced, attractive shoe that NEEDS BREAKING IN - I give this shoe three stars for comfort because the first two times I wore them I was in pretty excruciating pain. The first time, my right foot developed the worst blister I've ever had and the leather was so stiff that even beyond the blister my feet just hurt in general. The second time, the blister problem didn't come back but they still made my feet hurt. By the third time, they were very comfortable. I should also mention that I walk about a mile a day while going to and from work, so if you walk less it might take longer to break the shoes in, but the initial uncomfortableness will probably be less severe. The shoes are narrow, so consider getting them in wide if your feet at all wider than normal. They look good for a $60 shoe. The rubber sole seems hardy.

Dockers - This is the 6th pair of these shoes I have ordered, I keep going back to what is comfortable and looks good too.

Great starter shoes! As a guy who has only recently had to start wearing business casual on a semi regular basis, these shoes are perfect. They are comfortable, relatively cheap, and they look nice. You don't have to score the bottoms, and you don't really need to polish them that often. A great dress shoe for the uninitiated.

Comfortable after a few days. These shoes look great. They are very understated and professional looking. They aren't too "trendy" so I know I will be able to wear them for years. At first they were not very comfortable but after 2 or 3 days of wearing them with double socks, they fit great! I will definitely buy Dockers in the future!

Work Shoes - Like most shoes, it’s a little stiff and needs to be broken in, but the break in period was quick. It's very comfortable, but if you're on your feet a lot during the day, you might want more cushion than this shoe provides.

Dockers Shoe - Nice shoe - It's hard to find 15's that look good. It fit's ok, but still needs to be broken in.

Rubbing the grass - Recently I was seated in the grass and my shoes were rubbing the grass. The paint of my shoes suffered an important kind of waste of paint. Maybe was my fault, but I never thought that it was very easy to damage the paint of my shoes.

Classic cap toe oxford - Exactly what I was looking for. They felt a little snug but they're leather and stretched perfectly. You do need to break them in a bit.

Dockers Gordon - This is my 2nd pair of the Dockers Gordon. They wear extremely well. The rubber sole makes them comfortable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable shoe suitable for work or leisure.

Great Shoe - I was looking for a comfortable pair of shoes to replace a pair of shoes I bought locally that tore up my ankles. I'm on my feet quite a bit and walking around hard surfaced floor in an 88K building. These shoes are very comfortable.

To Gordon or not to Gordon - Wearable right out of the box. No break-in period for the black Gordon Dockers. Been wearing this brand for 10 years, wore out many pairs at work. I replace them about every 3 months for maximum comfort. Thanks for a nice shoe for the working man.

I bought this pair in black about a week ago. The left shoe had some rough edges on the inside part of the shoe's upper, right around where the laces are. This made it sort of bite into the top of my foot a little and was uncomfortable for the first couple of days. Seems to have broken in now and is fine, so eventually I got what I thought what I was getting i.e. a modestly priced shoe to wear to work.

Good looking narrow shoe - A very attractive shoe, but inadequate width. I hope these break-in but presently can be uncomfortable. I had ordered an EE width and received W, which is all they had to offer. I felt this was deceptive, but I kept them anyway.

Great shoes... I searched for weeks in every dept store you can think of in North TX and tried on just about everything in the "comfort dress shoe" category. I am 46 and my feet had gotten to a point where they would no longer tolerate traditional dress shoes at least not for a whole day at work. My desk is literally one quarter of a mile walk from my car in the company garage. This was taking a toll on my feet every day. I did not have a lot of faith in these as Dockers (Levis) was known for Jeans and khakis, right? But, lo and behold, I put these on and started walking around the DSW store. BTW, DSW is a great place to try on shoes at they have a lot of floor space that you walk around in to really get a good feel for any shoe you are considering. To this point I had tried everything from Bostonian to Timberland to Rockport to Ecco...just name it and I probably tried their entry in the comfort dress shoe arena. Nothing felt anywhere near as good as the Gordons. I have both the brown and black and have been wearing them now for almost a year. They feel great all day and, due to the expansive layout of my corporate headquarters, I have to do a lot of walking during the day (sometimes). They have worn great and look great also...something I could not say about most of the other shoes I tried on. I have recommended these to several co-workers and they have loved them as well.

Comfortable but heavy and squeaky. These are as comfortable as Rockports, but the soles are different. They are a soft rubber that's quite heavy and a bit noisy. Nice look, though. Simple, and with normal shaped (not square) toes.
