give and take These shoes are super comfortable and I haven't had any problems yet, but I question their durability. I have done a LOT of on-line research reading reviews of Wolverine's Durashock soles, and many people find that they crack across the ball of the foot after not too terribly long. This hasn't happened to me and the shoes still seem to be in great shape, but I hope mine don't follow suit in terms of what has apparently happened for some other people. As far as my experience goes, I'd like my feet to be this happy forever.

The best shoe ever! I'm a teacher, so I spend all day on my feet. I had bought a pair of these shoes about two years ago. I've been wearing the almost everday since then, and my feet feel great after every day! Recently, I made the mistake of leaving them out while I wasn't home, and my chewed up the back of one. I was looking for a replacement pair, and I tried several different pairs, including some from "Born," but nothing came close to what Wolverine has produced. It is truly the best shoe ever!

These are really great shoes except that they have an air insole or sole that lets out a gush of air each time one steps. Maybe I could train them to play a tuba or something, for extra entertainment as they sound as though one is silently passing gas at each step. Wolverine has a good idea but this one really is embarassing. I won't wear the things.

Great shoe - I do a lot of walking and standing during my day, but have to have a semi-professional appearance. This shoe is perfect. Very comfortable and looks nice.

BUY THESE SHOES! The inner air pockets do make a squishing noise, but that is a small price to pay for the comfort. I work on my feet, and these shoes are the best I have ever had for the endless hours I spend on the blacktop.

Why Did It Take Me So Long to Find These Shoes - These shoes were purchased for my husband, Bill. He wears a size 12-13 WW and shoes that are good-looking as well as comfortable are very hard to find. These are the best. He spends a lot of time on his feet at his job and these are the best he's ever worn. You can be sure that he will buy at least one more pair of Wolvervine Neptune's. Ahhhhh! I am a service electrician and most of my work is in everyday places (stores, offices etc.) and I wanted to get a work boot that was a little more dressier looking and very comfortable. I am on my feet and up and down ladders all day so comfort is important. I found it in these shoes. I find myself wearing these all the time. They are like walking on pillows. They are a perfect upgrade from my previous Georgia Boot Romeos.

Outstanding Comfort - I had a pair of these shoes in a brown color. We took our grandchildren to Disney World this past summer and I can say I walked more in three days that I ever thought possible! These shoes are the best things I have ever tried on my feet! I liked them so much I now have a pair in black that I purchased through Zappos as a "first time" email buyer. I was somewhat skeptical about buying without trying them on. I read some reviews about the fit on these shoes running "true" so I thought I would take a chance.The service was EXCELLENT!!!! They arrived in the mail the next day and I didn't even ask for the Overnite service. A great shoe buying experience, that I will repeat! Regards

Just what I was looking for - I had a pair of Bass Hemlocks Casual shoes in a Natural Leater color that are comfortable, but I couldn't find them in black. Looked around Zappos and found these. The uppers on these shoes look identicle to the Hemlocks, with a different sole, and a much, much more comfortable insole.

THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE YOU'LL BUY - I bought a pair of nepturne casuals after reading the reviews and I am not disappointed. Very comfortable with great support and true to size. I have wide feet and these shoes are like wearing pillows! Buy these, and you will have happy feet.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn - I am a very hard to please customer for comfortable shoes, but these shoes fit perfect. Normally, I wear 2-3 different pairs of shoes throughout the week or my feet get sore. I bought these shoes about 2 months ago at a Hush Puppy Outlet center in Florida and I haven't worn any other shoes since! The squeaky noise that someone mentioned in their review goes away after a couple of days. It's worth waiting for the noise to go away -- my feet feel more comfortable in these shoes than barefoot and that's the first time I could say that about any shoe. I never write reviews, but felt obligated with the pleasure and comfort I'm receiving. I hope they never stop making this shoe!! I will say that the shoe feels about a half size larger than marked, but it worked out for me because M width shoes are too narrow and WW shoes are too wide for me.

Wolverine Neptue Casual - If you are looking for high style this is not the shoe for you. If your are looking for great comfort, great fit, and practicality, this is it! And a big plus Zappo's got them to me in 36 hours at no extra charge. Fantastic! Will buy again here.

Best show for comfort/style- On my feet all day for restaurant work, very hard to find a slip resistant, stylish, comfortable plain black shoe. Have had mine for two years, one year in restaurant work at that, I know of know squeaking sound and never had it. They do crease on the top after a while, but not sure anything you can do about it. But a little bit of leather polish and they look really good for a two year old shoe. Buying a second pair just to have separate going out pair. Who ever said these aren't stylish, you must have no sense of style.

An Excellent shoe - I bought a pair of these last year. I've worn them almost every day for eleven months and they are worn out. They still feel great on my feet, but the toe has come apart from the sole on both shoes. I am definitely going to buy another pair. I found some at a local department store and got the size right before I ordered.

Walking on clouds - The Wolverine Neptune shoes are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought my first pair of Neptunes a few years ago and they saved my feet. My feet were always in pain and no other shoes ever gave me the comfort and support I needed. I've been wearing the Neptunes ever since and my feet do not hurt anymore.

Wow, this shoe is well built and comfy! I am very impressed with this shoe. I had purchased it to replace the Propéts Galway Walkers, also a comfortable shoe. These are more solidly built and a bit heavier. I'd say the Galway Walker shoe, which I do like, has a more flimsy feel compared to these. If you wear a uniform, this is a top-notch slip on for work.
