I was really pleased with the quality, look, and fit of these shoes. They are roomy, so don't order larger than usual with them. Very good arch support, internal cushioning, and sole. These shoes are one of the best values I've found on Zappos. I've ordered the Deer Stags black wingtips as well, and they were also excellent. This is a good brand.

Greta Shoes Great Fit - I have a wide foot with a high instep. I have difficulty finding shoes and have found Deer Stags to fit well. No break-in pain to the foot. Love them!

Decent Airport Friendly Shoe at a Decent Price - Relatively comfortable and wears in quickly. Unfortunately wears out relatively quickly too, but still a good value. Zappos was of course awesome, as always.

This is my first purchase of shoes online. It is difficult to know whether a pair of shoes will fit well. I knew that Deer Stag shoes would have enough room if I got the right size. I think ideally that I should wear a 14 1/2 wide. I did not see any half sizes so I bought size 15. They both have a little extra room and so I probably need to go somewhere and have my feet measured again. A 14 wide might work better. If I wear thicker socks that may take up some of the space. I'll try that. Don't get the wrong impression. I am happy to find shoes that are wide enough that my foot is not pushing out beyond the width of the sole of the shoe. I feel like I am standing on a firm foundation. It is just that my foot is sloshing around a bit. Thank you.

Deer Stags first timer - I work in a construction office, and spend limited time in the field. These shoes work very well for what I do. They are comfortable, look good, and easy to clean. I can wear them at the office or in the field (when steel toes aren't required). I would buy another pair when these wear out.

Cheap for a reason - I got these shoes for my husband and within about 3 weeks, we started to notice that there were spots on his shoes that looked like scuff marks. They were located in areas that would be hard to scuff up the shoe. It was like the material was rubbed off in these areas with something rough. Then, we noticed that the shoe was coming apart from the sole of the shoe. I will never again get this brand nor recommend them to anyone. Sometimes it is worth spending the extra money.

Sneakers to Sturdy Shoes - About 4 years ago, my husband discovered a New Balance suede upper walking shoe. The shoes were so comfortable he bought 5 pairs. He wore all of them out. My husband is arthritic. He has a protruding bunion and hammer toe on his right foot. After wearing those shoes every day it became more and more difficult for him to wear a regular shoe. In spite of the suede upper, the New Balance was a sneaker. After wearing sneakers for a length of time keeps your feet moist makes your feet extremely tender. The Deer Stags were a God send. He was able to adjust to them quickly.

Good shoe for a good price - I thought this was a good deal for under $60.00. The only real complaint I have is the "Supro Sock" on the inside of the shoe. In this particular pair of shoes the sock has begun coming up and wads in a ball by the end of the work day. Other than that the shoe was a great buy.

Deer Stags - Great Comfort! Excellent shoe. Have been buying Deer Stags 'Times' style for years. Padded around the ankle. Very comfortable and comes in wides! Usually buy them at shoe stores or Department stores. They are getting harder and harder to find in stores. After spending 7 hours in a mall looking for them, came home and with two clicks, purchased on ZAPPOS ! Why didn't I think of Zappos first! ZAPPOS WOW and fast delivery!!
