Classic - I've been wearing this shoe for at least 15 years. On my third black pair and have a brown pair which I had to special order.

The shoe looks fine but the burgundy shoe I ordered actually looks brown. I am very pleased with the fit and the comfort or I would not have kept the color. I would definitely buy another pair of Bostonian Clintons.

Worst shoe fit ever - Ordered this shoe in a size 15 D and it was the worst fit I have ever had They are going back as soon as I can get the return page to become accessable.

Bostonian Clinton - Pros: -These shoes look nice, with a good shine (I have received many unelicited positive comments from others). -Comfort: The shoe fit around my feet well, even from the beginning. Cons: -Durability: The leather easily cracks and even peeled after a few light uses. After a month or two of heavier daily use, the leather bottom started peeling off, after which the shoe was unusable. (This is the reason why the overall stars is lower than if you averaged comfort and look.) -Comfort: The leather (?) insole doesn't absorb sweat very well. This was more problematic with thinner socks.

Try and find better. This is the best pair of leather soled shoes I've ever owned. The look, the fit, the comfort, the favorable comments. I ordered 11W because of my diabetes, and they were perfect. I only wear them occasionally for dress. The only thing more perfect is the team of professionals at Zappos. They are great.

Like walking on air - They fit just right and they look great. This is my 1st pair of Bostonian in a little over forty years (thats when they were made in Whitman Mass) and there is a very good chance that my next order will be Bostonian's again...MjF

I love this shoe - I have been buying these shoes for a couple of years and love the feel of it. I use the same pair daily and have to replace them about once every 9 months, but I don't do any polishing, buffing, etc.

Zappo's Service - I have ordered a number of shoes from Zappo's. They have all been delivered promptly and all were exactly as I had specified. A few were returned for reasons of fit - returns were handled without questions or delays. A premium shoe store, incredible variety, and unmatched service. I wouldn't even look elsewhere for shoes, not even in my local community.

Bostonian's Clinton Model - I need a narrow shoe in a slip-on or I would walk right out of it. The Clinton in narrow fits quite well, is lightweight, and looks good for business dress or casual. This is my second pair.
