My Favorite Shoe. I disagree with the first review that says these shoes wear out quickly. I've now been wearing one pair for years, although I have a few pairs in reserve. My only problem is keeping them clean. I wear the old dirty ones all the time, but put on a new clean pair when I'm going out in public. Reviewer is wearing her Easy Spirit AP1 shoes in photo.

Looking for Comfort. I've had this type shoe for the last five years. I look for comfort and durability in shoes because I'm on my feet about 16 hours a day. I do agree with others that they wear out too quickly. I have to buy at least 3 pair a year, as I have to wear them every day and for so long. I also wish I could find them on sale once in a while.

Very nice! This is an extremely comfortable shoe. They don't need any "breaking in". The leather is very soft and it looks nice, too, especially for a casual shoe.

Comfort Plus! I have a very hard time finding shoes, as I am arthritic, and I couldn't find a pair that didn't rub against my toes or squeeze on the sides or that the leather didn't feel like a rock against my foot. Well, these shoes don't do any of that! I plan to buy more!

Why not White Fabric? I've had two pairs of this style in the white fabric they came in -in the GOOD OLD DAYS. Now, I cannot find these in anything but leather. With my size 10 AAA's it isn't easy to find plain old canvas tennis shoes that actually fit. I have a pair in the black leather, but would go to great lengths to get a couple of pairs in the white fabric.

Comfort plus. They are by far the most comfortable shoe. I've worn out my white pair and am experiencing difficulty in getting another pair with the golve soft leather. They really do wear out fast, and I don't mind that as long as I can get more.

Best shoe ever. Comfort plus, I do agree! The only problem I have is that the laces are too long and almost every pair I have purchased has at least one eyelet pulled out! As for keeping them clean....I throw them in the washer and have had perfect results! No shrinkage or damage. Haven't tried the dryer! Not what it used to be. The manufacturer is now making this shoe in China. The leather is not what it used to be.

The best comfort shoe. I find these shoes are great comfort on my feet. -And I sure don't agree with the person that said they wear out fast. No so for me. I get them soiled, but a good cleaner cleans them up great. Hope they continue to make them, maybe in other colors.

Best Shoe Ever. All my life I've had bunions. I was unable to find shoes wide enough at the time. My whole life, I hurt. One day I found these and, from almost the moment I put them on, I've loved them. I think they feel like "soled socks". I work as a house cleaner and get them wet all the time and have washed them every week, at times. They've lasted as long as 3 years. Wonderful!

Saved me. Hi Folks, -I went to work over the holidays and stood on my feet 9 hours at a stretch for the first time in many years. These are the ONLY shoes that didn't kill my feet. Right from the start I put them on BRAND NEW & just kept on walking. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You & My Feet Thank You, also. I feel and know these are the best yet. There are no other shoes that feel like heaven like these do. I have them in three colors. I wish they would sell the tan all over. They're a good color and go with most clothing. Never stop making them. Thank you.

The ONLY sport shoe I buy! I discovered these shoes about 4 years ago. I first bought them because they don't have the high "collar" around the top, my ankles hate those. The cushiony insole and the overall design make these the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. One day I went shopping in a large mall, wearing a Ked-like sneaker. My feet, legs, hips and back were killing me. I stopped and bought a pair of these, needing a new pair anyway, and was able to enjoy the rest of the shopping. I do wish that the sole edge would stay glued better, but other than that, I have no complaints.

They're great as long as they last. Like the others, I've found that the shoe tends to try to pull apart in the toe box after continued wear, but they are so comfortable, it's a minor inconvenience as long as they continue to make them to reorder. I remember the good old days of the Mach I which was available in AAAA width. A wonderful shoe, but they discontinued it and didn't replace it with another slim fitting walker.

Brands I'd also recommend: If you have a very narrow foot, you can't beat Cole Haan shoes for fit, but they are certainly pricey.

Best shoes I have had for the last 8 years The first pair of Easy Spirit shoes were grey, then I got black, navy, biege, metalic,white,gold,and then the last pair was black. Since I wear them every day I have to get another pair of Black. I can no longer get them at the store here in Kingston Ontario Canada so will be ordering another pair real soon.

Brands I'd also recommend: I like the Easy Spirit so well I could not recommend any thing else.
