Excellent bag. Light and flexible, sturdy. I used the backpack straps extensively on my last business trip, and it was very comfortable.

The quality of this bag is superior. I use it as a gym bag, briefcase and lunch bag combined. The backpack straps also work well as a shoulder strap. I use the compression straps to attach a yoga mat to the side of the transporter. Highest rating, worth the price.

I love this bag! I took it when I went to Europe for three weeks and it made traveling so easy! It easily fit carry on requirements and the backpack straps made switching between trains easy and comfortable. My brother also used it when he went to Japan and loved it so much he bought his own.

Reason for purchase: Needed hands-free travel to the airport with my toddler ("hands-on toddler") in tow. Reason for selecting Osprey 60: I needed something big enough to hold my stuff and his things while not breaking my back or running the risk of lacking space. Verdict: I am very happy that I chose this product. I was considering Gregory and had honestly searched for anything "backpack duffel" or some version of that search. There was a Samsonite backpack duffel that I should've bought then but could not find anywhere. I chose Osprey because it was (1) the most aesthetically pleasing to me + (2) the roominess + (3) material. The cinching straps came in handy for when my bag was understuffed and even a bit overstuffed. It helped keep my bag relatively flat and thus more comfy on my back. Other stuff: I wish Osprey could figure out a way to make use of the pocket that the backpack straps are stowed in. It seems like a great space to hold a water bottle or something while you have the bag on. At the moment, that compartment is rendered useless when you use the straps. Also, I ended up taking off the velcro enclosure because I was afraid that it would ruin my cute coat while I traveled with this. Would totally recommend this, although I would not know what to compare it to. It fit my needs, was comfy, and I didn't feel like a complete backpacker (since I totally don't look like one).
