The skirt flows freely while the under panel is as snug as a girdle - so it is kind of a miracle. I'm 5'10 and the skirt was a bit short in a size 10. The material is slippery, so it's not possible to pull a longer top down over the skirt. It looks a bit like a tennis skirt and could be worn around a resort, pool or at the beach. Size up to avoid a little muffin-top.

This is a cute and comfortable swim skirt. Originally I ordered up a size and had to return as way too large. I weigh 137 lbs. and a size 12 worked perfectly. Thanks to Zappos great return policy I did reorder and am glad I did. Besides working with separates I have a couple older high cut swim suits that I can wear this over and it has given them new life.
