These are great, stylish shoes for special events! My boys (three and five years old) danced the night away in these shoes with no discomfort at all. They have great cushioning and are not so stiff like some other boys' dress shoes. The sole is rubber, not leather, so they're not super dressy, but my boys were not wearing tuxes to the wedding so it was fine. Plus, I prefer they have more traction anyway. They even asked to wear their new shoes again today, so I know they were comfortable. I only wish they were less expensive and came in narrow.
