These boots felt 1/2 size larger to me but I have very narrow feet. I returned the 8.0 and when I received the 7.5, I wore them right out of the box. They are so sharp and so comfortable I am seriously thinking about ordering another pair. I tend to wear my favorites on a regular basis and then am disappointed when I wear them out. I am retired so wearing something on a regular basis can be 5 days a week. I have been known to buy a 2nd pair of shoes that are that comfortable and keep them for the days when I still want comfort but need them to look new. These are those boots. And of course, Zappos makes it so easy - from ordering to receiving to returning. It doesn't get any better than Zappos.
