It is the perfect combination of leather, and stretch material. Unfortunately, it was even uglier in my size (41) than I had feared. I guess I will go back to my old Merrell mary janes.

My mom has trouble with hammer toes and bunions. Surgery is out of the question due to other health complications. These shoes are perfect for her with the soft fabric top and heavy duty gripping soles. The only shoes she wears during rough CO winters. They don't look like orthopedics but that's the function they serve.

This shoe is incredibly comfortable and is great work shoe. Quiet, understated - works well with pants.

I wanted a comfortable, durable, long-lasting shoe. I got more than that! I tried the shoe on; immediately I could feel the pain subsiding in my back, legs and feet. It was unbelievable. I walked around with them on, to see if what I was experiencing was real. It was! The pain was gone! Honestly, I could not believe that after a year of therapy, pain medications, doctor bills, etc., all I needed was a pair of Josef Seibel's comfort shoes. Needless to say, I bought the shoes with the money that I would have used for my next prescription!

Great casual shoe - These shoes are attractive, comfortable, and a great all purpose shoe. The stretch fabric and leather combination make for a perfect fit. My feet run on the narrow side, and they fit well. These replaced a similar pair I had for years, but I like these even better.
