I love these boots! They are really comfortable and all man-made materials! They totally look like leather, but aren't - great news for the cows!

I was impressed with these boots. They look exactly like the photo. These do not look or feel cheap and appear to be well made for the price. The style is really nice. The boots fit exactly to size. They are slightly narrow. I am a true 9.5 but lately, I have had to order a 9...not in these. There is little if any room for heavy socks. The lining is soft. The laces stay tied because there is a zipper. I was on the fence because they were not leather and I thought the price was too high. But because Zappos has such fast delivery and returns, I decided to go for it and I am glad that I did. The cap toe and dark brown color won me over.

I was looking for some nice combat boots somewhere when I found these. I was a bit skeptical because I couldn't figure out what they meant by "man made upper" (it's a nice way of saying faux leather apparently) so I was a bit hesitant, but now I have them, I can't imagine why I doubted them to begin with. I like how the soles are really sturdy, but don't look too clunky, and they really are very comfortable. My feet are a bit wide, so I felt it was a bit narrow. I really wish the smell was gone though.

A couple of things. First, the color isn't quite as pictured. The real thing is a little darker and the color is cooler than the photos. So note that. Also, they're kind of fragile. While I was walking, I brushed my feet together and the speed lace things on the right boot snagged a thread on the left boot and completely pulled it out- like it was trailing behind me about 6 inches. So that was sad. Especially because it was the first wearing. :( Returning. That said, they were very comfy!
