These are great basic sneaker! The only real difference from previous versions of the Tekkie is that
Puma has replaced the frayed, distressed ankle with a neatly stitched one. Otherwise they have the same simple, low profile style. These shoes use a much softer
canvas than some similar offerings, like the
Keds Champion, for example. The result is a very lightweight, slipperlike shoe that is very comfortable, but do not go looking for much in the way of
arch support or plan to run a marathon in these. Overall they are great shoes, and a delightful change of pace from the run-of-the-mill crosstrainers that everyone else wears.
