Great looking boot, and extremely comfortable. I typically have trouble finding boots that fit me in the calf, but these have plenty of room. I'm thinking of getting them in another color I like them so much.

I love these boots. I never had to break these boots in from the first time I put them on. Very comfortable, lots of toe space. I like the suede/leather/somewhat cowboy look.

Beautiful boots! The craftsmanship is gorgeous. I purchased the color Roasted Chestnut. I saw all of the colors in person and they are all so rich and exquisite.

These are the first pair of Lucchese that I have seen made in China folks. I tried both colors charcoal and then the chocolate. The quality if not what I've come to expect from Lucchese. The size is at least 1/2 to one full size large, both in length and width. Love the style, but lets support the USA please!

Never expected to see a Made in China stamp these...sending back with much disappointment.

I can't believe there aren't any reviews on this boot, it's so cute and well made with durable leather, leather lining and a good sole! It comes up about 3 inches below my knee, slightly above the widest part of my calf (making my legs look thinner and longer). I'm 5'1 with thinnish ankles and athletic calves -- no problem with the shaft circumference, by the way (not on the largest setting, either). I love the casual-cowboyish-motorcycle boot look. I have trouble being short because some boot shafts are too high; and the ones that are too low (and fitted) are not flattering for my build -- they make my legs taper to little bitty feet in a disproportionate way. I don't normally plunk down this much money for shoes, but since I've problem feet, I've had to be more discerning. I'm about a 6.5W (my feet are wide in the front and I have a slightly high instep). Plantar fasciitis and ankle/neuroma surgeries have prompted the need for well fitting, supportive, stable, but comfortable shoes -- and orthotics. Kind of hard to find given my short/wide feet, especially for something decent looking, right? Hooray! My search is over! I love these. These are super cute and they fit great! I bought a 7 and don't have an issue with pressure on the outside of my feet (really really important because of residual pain from surgery). And of course Zappos has been wonderful during my quest. (Sorry this is so long, but detailed reviews really help me and save money for Zappos for shipping costs on returns -- which save y'all money on their products.) If you're thinking about it, give 'em a try!

I ordered these pups in the chocolate. Wow! They’re very nice. They are wider than all my other boots by Lucchese. The length is about the same, would size down a half size if they offered it. Very nice, well-made boot, made in China? The silver buttons are really screwed in from the back. One of the screws was missing, not a deal breaker.

These boots are gorgeous! I get tons of compliments on them. They're pretty comfy, too. One thing, I'm a size 10 in most every shoe/boot I purchase, but I needed a 9.5 in these boots. Fortunately, Zappos has awesome customer service and I had the new size delivered the very next day! Wow, great site, beautiful boots... Happy me!

These would have been my third pair of Lucchese boots, had they been as high of quality as I expect from Lucchese and if they had fit. I wear an 8.5 and I got these in an 8 and they were still way too long. The leather was stiff and felt cheap. The fit in the ankle was off. Very disappointed. Every other Lucchese boot I've owned have been wonderful.

These boots are beautiful. Note that they do run 1/2 size larger. I am a true size 8 and felt comfortable in the 7.5. I talked to a Luuchese rep before I purchased these boots and learned that Cowboy boots are made to fit where your heel may have a slight "slip" and it's something you get used too. Leather stretches so if you're someone who likes things snug, and are between sizes, then order a full size down. I am 5'2 and appreciate the height of the boot shaft. It doesn't come up to my knee but stops about 2.5 inches below. The boots are proportional to my small frame. These boots have gone under the radar for exceptional...and know that I ordered both colors after seeing the sale. Zappos gets 5 stars for support. If you order these boots, you will love them!

These get five stars for style but only one star for quality. After wearing them three times, they have stretched out profoundly. Now I cannot wear them because they are too floppy. Maybe the leather is defective? I have numerous boots and have never had this problem. In the process of contacting Lucchese to see what they can do since Zappos could not take them back. I recommend sizing down even if they feel perfect the first time you try them on.

After trying on several Frye boots, I settled on these. I literally just opened the box, so I can't comment on wear, but I can comment on size - and they're pretty huge. I usually wear an 8.5, but ordered both a 7.5 and an 8 - based on previous reviews. The 7.5s are perfect and fit nicely over my rather slender calves (13.5 inches) - while wearing skinny jeans. Yes, the toe turns up a tad like cowboy boots, but these are much more rock 'n' roll than cowboy - so if that's the look you're after (and it was for me) - I'd say go for it. They're lovely.

Super cute, but I am not crazy about the formed upturned toe. When I compared with UGG Gillespie, there was no comparison. The UGG was slightly boxier but had more of a European feel PLUS the UGG had the wonderful sheepskin footbed. Not to mention the Ugg was a much lower price.
