Over the years, I have purchased three pairs of these shoes. I love their ugly-chic aesthetic, and they're great for me because I have weird foot issues. However, they are not the most durable things, and therefore, a touch overpriced. The sole wears down incredibly fast. For my last two pairs I took them to my friendly cobbler, who gave them some sturdier soles. Much better. They also stretch out very fast, so if they seem tight on your feet at first, give them a couple of wearings and they should conform to the shape of your foot. Highly recommended, just make sure you get the sole protectors and you should be pretty satisfied.

These are the best shoes that I have ever owned in my life. If there was a winter version I would probably wear this brand exclusively. These shoes are comfortable and cute. I have flat feet so most shoes end up squeezing my toes together and making my feet ache. These shoes are do not hurt at all. Yesterday I ordered the 711 style and they arrived today! Zappos is the best! I love them already. I normally wear a 7½, but sometimes need a 37. I got these (and the 711) in 38 and they fit perfectly.

Okay, first of all I gotta share this with everybody: I ordered these Worishofer sandals on Saturday night, and received them before 3pm on Monday! How insanely awesome is that? So for service, Zappos gets a billion stars in every way. I will be shopping for a bunch of extra Worishofers pairs through this site & no other. I mean its hassle free! We already deal with hassle in our everyday shopping experiences /life in general, so why. deal with BS when you're just trying to get shoes!? Right? So, Zappos, te amo! And now to the review of these beauties! I literally never experienced anything like this. I mean, my feet are singing to me right now and thanking me at the same time. I received them today after lusting over Worishofer sandals for the longest time. Besides the fact that they're the cutest sandals on planet earth and beyond, I'm telling you, ladies, I've never experienced such comfort in my entire life! I have really cute feet (okay, that wasn't very modest of me now was it?), but the problem I face daily in the summer with sandals is as follows: all sandals are too wide for me, I have size 9 feet with very high arches, and most sandals albeit cute offer no support. So finally I can wear extremely hot sandals like Worishofers, that are super cute (the cutest in my opinion) yet offer support and literally massage your feet while you walk. It's funny how a lot of peeps refer to these as "old lady shoes"... to me they have a feel of yesteryear like so retro like the sandals I used to wear as a little girl. I got the 538 black snake Worishofers and they're too hot...they look like little pin up sandals. Definitely have a '40s feel and I can finally wear sandals that don't torture my feet. It's all about comfort for me and if you feel comfortable, you'll look hot. It's just like my own granny (rest in peace) used to say, "when you wear uncomfortable shoes, it shows on your face".. totally true. I hope my review makes you buy Worishofers for the rest of your life which is what I'm planning on doing, through Zappos.com obviously! I love these shoes! They are so retro-chic and totally comfortable. I will be wearing them every day this summer. I normally wear an 39 but the 38 was the better fit in this case (might have liked 38.5).

Love these, but not an attractive cut for my foot so I'm returning them. Super-comfortable. They're a great retro-chic look. I'd remove the flap under the laces so that skin shows through, and replace the laces with ribbon - a wide organza ribbon would be great. Hot pink or red on the black shoe would be a great look. Wish the grommets for the laces were brass rather than silver. Looks cheap.
