I purchased this shoe for bootcamp training. It has exceeded my expectations. Great cushioning and stability.

Very comfortable shoe. There is no arch support which is fine because I'm flat footed. They are like walking on a cloud. The one negative about it is that the glue that was used to put them together looks like it oozed out of ever spot the shoe was put together at and not cleaned off.

I agree with the other buyers about size. I order a half size larger than I usually buy New Balance shoes and they fit perfectly.

The NB shoes are definitely lightweight and comfortable. I also love the way they look on my feet. I have used them on the bike at the gym and they are fine for general gym use. I'm glad I read the reviews before ordering because they are definitely not true to size - make sure you order at least a half a size bigger than you normally would.

I needed a pair of shoes to play volleyball in that ran in a wide width. Was hoping that the New Balance MX877 would do the trick. Unfortunately, I ended up returning them because I refused to listen to the other reviewers and ordered the shoe in my true size. They truly run a half size small. The shoes overall were pretty comfortable. There was great cushion on the fore foot, but little cushion on the heel. I suspect I did not feel much comfort in heel because shoe is cut pretty low. Very different from the running shoes that offer stability support that I'm accustom to. Heading to the New Balance store this weekend to try some shoes on. If I don't finding anything, I might just order these again in a half size larger.

Previous New Balance M990 was a size 10-1/2, MX877 a little smaller and had to return for a size 11. Extremely comfortable and great fit.

Very low design on the heel of the shoe. It can easily slip off if you have loose socks. Attractice shoe, yes, but foot-friendly, no.
