This is the best tea kettle I've purchased in recent memory. The handle remains cool throughout the boiling process, its capacity is large enough to fill 2 thermos jars and 2 mugs, and the design is modern and elegant. In addition, the opening and closing mechanism makes this kettle easy to use. I've had it a few weeks and it has simplified my morning routine. I have recently purchased several other OXO products, as well. They appear to combine attractive design along with easy to use functionality. Excellent product.

A great teapot. Nice, positive click when spout is opened or closed. Looks good in an open, modern kitchen. Good quality feel.

I will give this kettle 5 stars; it is well constructed, the spout is big, the handle stays cool, even though it's boiling a minute longer, the whistle is loud, which I like. And, it's easy on the eyes. Buy with confidence - it's quality.

This is a high quality, dripless kettle. It's easy to operate, and the one click feature is very nice. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Love my red tea kettle. The whistle is loud -- almost too loud, but I have no trouble hearing it.

Oh, it's a screamer! Handle stays nice and cool even at boiling point. The click-clack, open & close contraption stays cool to the touch and is super convenient for one hand handling. In short I love it.

Kettle works extremely well. It's a little noisy as the water heats up (the bubbles) but we love it and use it constantly. Zappos service was superb.

I recently purchased this tea kettle because the lever to open the spout on my Revere 3 1/2 qt. broke. I had the Revere for over 30 years, so I couldn't complain. Since I now have a new kitchen, I decided on the Oxo, based on quality and design. While the kettle holds less then my Revere, it looks great on my black, smooth-top cook top. It is heavy for its size, but I think the quality makes it that way. I don't know if it will last 30 years, but then, I don't think I will either (I'm 76). I do baby it though. After it cooks off, I wipe out the inside, so no mineral deposits will form (couldn't do that on the Revere). All in all, so far I'm very happy with it. I also think it would look great on a hot pad to serve tea at the table, without keeping it on the stove.

OK tea kettle. Not quite as nice as I expected. The whistle is a sputtering sound, the knob on lid came off and the screw holding it fell off into the kettle (may be good to tighten it before using). Handle works well.

Pretty color, but pretty heavy for a tea kettle. I didn't really like the open/close button, or the small access to get the lid off. Still looking for the perfect tea kettle.
