These are some standard (elastic-flexible)
flats - nothing too exceptional from any others like this that I have seen. I have a very similar pair from the ICON company but the exterior is durable because it is made out of leather. I range between a 7-7.5 and the 7 fit fine. The exterior material is a soft, permeable elastic cloth fabric which will stretch and mold to your foot - not too durable in a wet environment. I ordered the Aqua Python print, which is a little bit more teal than the photo, but they're still pretty cool. I'm not very impressed with the "sock" that lines each of these
flats (the fabric catches on my trimmed toenails and feels like the static chamois cloth I use to dry my car). It's lined and secured along the outward seam, so I can feel my foot sliding around the shoe due to the sock being loose where it's not secured down. I would have expected the
socks to be removable for washing - but no, they are stitched to the shoe. The package says the shoes cannot be immersed in water but must be washed with a damp towel if necessary. The fabric feels soft enough to be hand washed though - so that's disappointing. I
guess I just expected more from
Corso Como (as the padding in most of their shoes is very nice) for the price of these
flats. Thanks to Zappos for the speedy delivery though. I'm much more impressed with the
Guess Edel
flats I ordered (super cushioned & soft) as well as the all leather
flats from the Vintage shoe company which are very much worth the price for the supreme quality and durability.
