Good quality & fit. Easy to get on & off & very lightweight. A little on the pricey side.

I bought these shoes for my 2 year old son and they are great! He's got sort of chubby feet and these are so nice, lightweight and stretchy that they fit him very comfortably. They are super light and weigh barely anything. My son loves his "running shoes"! My husband and I are both marathon runners who wear NB Minimus as well, and find that this type of shoe with neutral cushioning and a minimal heel-to-toe drop are the kindest to our feet and knees. So we decided to try to stick to these types of shoes for our kids too! My husband's Minimus look just like these too...our son loves having shoes that look just like dad's!

My almosst 3 year old has some gross motor delays, and these shoes are perfect for him. They are super light and form fitting to his feet, which helps him run much more smoothly and effortlessly. They are difficult to put on though. Because the construction is so soft and not stiff, it is impossible for him to put them on himself, but I think his improved running outweighs this issue. The size and width runs as marked. My son has wide feet and these just mold perfectly.

I wanted something minimalist for my son as he's running more and more. We tried soft star and they were always falling off his feet. These have way more structure to the heel than I would like, but they're very flexible. They also have a really good gripping sole, which I think results in a lot less falling when we're on uneven terrain. Due to the tongue design he has some more trouble putting them on himself than he does with other shoes.
