Update after cross fit workout: These shoes seem to work pretty well. I was able to jump rope and do burpees pretty easily because of the fact that these shoes are so light and minimal. Burpees get extremely tiring, especially with thicker shoes. The thicker the sole the higher you have to pop up to get your feet under you. So doing them barefoot you only have to clear your feet, and these shoes are the next best thing after being barefoot. I also felt like I did not have to jump very high to clear the jump rope, so I could do it pretty fast and low. Climbing rope, I am pretty new at this, but these shoes did do really well. I was able to squeeze the rope in between the bottom of one shoe and the top of the other and it held very tight. I also do the method of squeezing the arches of my feet together (with the rope in the middle) and they seemed to squeeze okay. But they work better with the first method. When you look at the pictures of the rubber material on top of the shoe it looks like it might be thin and weak, but seeing it in person, it looks thick and strong.

I love these shoes. These shoes are definitely perfect for Crossfit. I decided on these over the NB Minimus WT20 because I felt that these had a more flexible sole. These are also wider than the F-Lite 230s, which was a bit too narrow for my foot. The zero drop is what sold me most of all. I'd say the sizing runs between true to size to maybe a little bit smaller than marked. It just depends on where your foot fits between sizes. I usually wear a 6 to 6.5, and the 6.5 fit me fine...thank goodness because they don't run any smaller! I hope they come out with more colors soon!

This is a well designed minimalist fitness shoe and I gave the style and comfort 4 stars. However, the sizing is off and seems shorter in length compared to the F-Lite 195/230. This is my second pair of Bare-XF 210's in size 10.5UK/11.5US. The first pair was too short in size 10UK/11US. I have two pairs of Inov8's; F-Lite 230 and F-Lite 195 both in size 10UK/11US. The F-Lite 195 is about a half size+ wider and longer than the F-Lite 230 in the same size. If the F-Lite 230's fit you well I would go up half a size for the Bare-XF 210. If the F-Lite 195s fit you well I would go up at least half size to a full size on the Bare-XF 210. The toe area is slightly wider than the F-Lites, however, it's not as flexible. I gave it an overall of 3 stars due to the inconsistent sizing compared to the F-Lites 195/230. Inov-8 needs to be more consistent with their sizing.

Fast, super fast! Great crossfit shoes as well. Nice for any WOD to tackle. Rope climbs are easier. I actually prefer these over my Vibrams now. Feels good to wear socks again and still have the minimum experience!

I really like these shoes for CrossFitting. I've used a number of shoes, and I think these are working the best. I wear a 10 1/2 in Chuck Taylors but bought a full size up after seeing some reviews. The 11 1/2 size I bought are perfect. They arrived quickly, and I have zero complaints with my transaction. If you CrossFit, I recommend these. I've also done some running in them, and since I'm already used to the Pose method of running, these worked well. On longer runs, 5 or more miles or harsh off road terrain, you might go with a shoe with some more padding in the front sole to protect against sharp rocks bruising your sole, but otherwise these work perfect for me.

I have tried various barefoot shoes over the last few years (Nike Free, New Balance MT-10, Minimus Life, VFF KSO, and Merrell Sonic Glove) and have found that the Vibrams provided to best feedback to the ground when doing any kind of athletic activity. That was until I purchased the 210s. I have heard great things about Inov-8 as far as having similar characteristics to the VFF and can confirm that these are the best barefoot trainers available. I am a strength trainer and frequently perform both the power lifts and Olympic lifts while wearing these shoes. The durability and protection these shoes provide is unlike any other shoes. The thick rubbery overlays protect and support both the medial and lateral sides of the mid foot and provide a nice solid ground feel when dead lifting, squatting, lunging, jumping, sprinting, and walking. While these shoes were designed for xfit, they can be used for any athletic purpose. I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to continuously putting the hurt on these bad boys. In the wise words of Mark Rippetoe, "Strong people are harder to kill than weak people, and more useful in general." Enjoy these shoes!

This shoe is the F Lite 230s without the midsole. I exaggerate not, these are perfect for the minimalist athlete . Out-of- the-box performance from double unders to heavy dead lifts. These are my fourth pair of Inov-8s and all have been consistent with the sizing. Not for the faint hearted, these shoes will expose foot weakness like the Vibram Fivefingers.

These shoes do not run small. For reference I wear a 10 in Vans and a 10.5 in pretty much all Nike shoes. I ordered this shoe in a 10.5 and it fits great. I do like having a bit of extra room in my toe area for my gym shoes. I could probably also squeeze into a 10 in this shoe, but it would be uncomfortable after 100 jump ropes or a few sprints. I have flat feet, so I like shoes that are flat and do not have a high arch. These shoes are close to vibrams in the sense that you are barely walking on anything with no arch support. I will do my first cross fit workout with these shoes tomorrow, I will update on how well they work. I will make sure to get a rope climb in as well.

I went a half size up like people said and they are too big. These shoes are true to their size. If you wear a 8.5, get an 8.5! Other than that these shoes are awesome! Excellent for crossfit. I will be buying another pair when these are worn.

I am in Afghanistan where things usually take at least 14 days to get here. It took only 7 days to get these shoes! That was impressive to say the least. This is my first pair of minimalists and my first pair of inov. I use them to weight lift and then I go straight into insanity for my cardio. They allow me to be so much more balanced and I feel that each exercise that I do is much more natural. The shoes seem very high quality and are holding up well over here in the desert! I will be buying another pair when these are worn out!
