I bought this shoe to run on grass and light dirt trails. I run early mornings and most often my shoes are soaked by the end of the run due to heavy dew. These shoes are perfect for this environment. They are lighter than any shoe I currently own includng the Merill Trail Glove and NB minimis trail. Feel great and are as close to barefoot as you can get with a shoe with an upper. The only downside is that the holes do allow some debris to get in the shoe when sockless. Run them under the faucet after a run and they are dry in no time and ready to roll.

I love it: It's breathable, it's unique, it's practical. My only minor qualm is the sole is not as durable as I expected. I never ran in it but wore it on an almost daily basis for about 2 months after work hours yet the sole is already wearing down quickly. It's not bald or breaking apart but the "bumps" or traction marks are almost flattened. Also, sharp blades of grass or sticks can puncture through the sole.

I wear a 10.5 in just about every Nike and a 10 in New Balance Minimus, so the Ultra's seem on par w/ other minimal shoes I have. I wear these to knock around in. They are not a sneaker or running shoe - think Crocs but minimal and way cool. I've done a Crossfit workout in them, and a mile and a quarter run on pavement. Still working on my "natural running stride" so I don't run in them often. Even if my form was perfect the label on the box says that with good form you'll get 300 miles out of them. These are my go-to shoe for the summer, perfect for wearing around or even out at night depending on what I do. Great buy for the cost.

When I first received these I was expecting more of a traditional sneaker and thought about returning them...but when I tried them on they were so comfortable for walking or hanging out that I didn't want to take them off. Almost like walking barefoot but with protection. Highly recommended.

Easy to put on, light, comfortable. Love 'em. I wear 'em all day - to the beach, washing the car, and riding my bike.

I got the red/gray shoes to walk in the rocky rivers around here and have ended up wearing them everywhere! I can't yet attest to their running comfort but they've been great for kicking around town and playing frisbee. One thing: I normally wear a 10.5 or 11 so I originally got the "44 (US Men's 11)" size. They were WAY too large. Two returns later, the "42 (US Men's 9)" size fit correctly. Either these run a little large or the size translation is off. Actually, I think it's a little of both.

Fun shoes...super comfortable. I am always on the lookout for minimalist shoes that can breathe, and these are far more comfortable than Crocs as they have a thin, no rise sole, so they are much more like barefoot. Lots of comments due to the bright colors (I have the blue/white/red, and also the red/gray). Tongue (which is removable) can take a little care to get straight and un-bunched when putting them on, but not a big issue. They are becoming my summer go-to shoes. Because of the euro sizing, and Vivo last, I had to try both the American 11 and 12 equivalents...went with the 11 (I usually wear 11-1/2 to 12 depending on the shoe).

It's amazing! Best fit me and the feeling is so good! And since my feet's width is somewhat larger than normal, I want to point since it suitable to me, it may be a bit of wide for normal guys.

I love these. The only complaint I have is that they don't come in half sizes. Even with that I still love 'em.

They are great for running around town in. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them. So comfortable. Will buy a second pair.
