I'm 5'5, 120 lbs and got a 26. They are snug through the hips (I'm on the curvy side), but the 27 would have been too big in the waist. They stretch just enough to be comfortable but still hold their shape. They do wrinkle a bit more than my other Hudsons, but they contain rayon. The dark wash (there's no fading or distressing at all) makes them perfect for dressing up. They are the perfect length for flats. I would buy another pair if they still had my size.
