I was very happy to see these boots in my size on Zappos and immediately ordered them. As soon as they arrived I opened up the box and tried them on. Well, not really...I couldn't get my foot beyond the narrow ankle and since there is no zipper, I couldn't put them on. Which is okay since the embroidered uppers are not suede but made of very cheap velvet. At least that's how the Ferragamo website describes them - leather and embroidered velvet. And it is obviously velvet fabric that is rough and cheap-looking so I wouldn't keep these boots even if they fit. This is too much money for a cheap velvet boot! As always, Zappos customer service is fantastic! The boots arrived the day after I ordered them, and they will go back within 12 hours of receiving them, no hassles!

I agree completely with the previous review. I too was excited to see these boots at Zappos and ordered them immediately. I have several pair of Ferragamo shoes and boots and was certain that these would be fabulous. I could not get them on. The ankle area of the boot shaft is far too narrow. Without a zipper, it was impossible to get them on. I too returned them immediately. I was unable to rate these boots for fit since I never did get them on! That's what I love about Zappos. No fuss returns.

These shoes are very comfortable once I broke them in. The shoes dug into my ankles and I had to wear Band-Aids for a while, but I finally took them to a shoe repair place and he softened up the material. He also softened up and stretched another area that was bothering my feet so now I have no problems. I wear them all day long with no problems. I have narrow feet, but these fit fine. I usually get an 8 but ordered a 40 to make sure I had enough room.

I love these shoes. I have so many foot problems and connective tissue issues in my lower legs. These are the shoes that saved me from ugly shoes. And after wearing twice they fit my foot like a glove. I can wear them all day and walk in them all day and they are not even painful when I take them off. They are the best.

I love the look and comfort of these shoes, but be aware that they run small. I normally wear an 8 1/2, so ordered a 40, which is equivalent to a 9, and it was still a bit snug.

I saw these shoes in the Portland Airport but they did not have my size. Ordered them from Zappos and I love them.

I love these shoes! They are very comfortable, and fashionable too. I wore them the entire day the first time I took them out of the box with no problem. The arch support is fantastic! I was a little hesitant about the price, but am very happy about them, and would buy another pair without hesitation.
