Very attractive boot. Runs large. I usually wear an 8, and the 7 of this boot fit well. What was so disappointing was the white discoloration in patches all over. The enclosed info card mentioned that because the boots are made of rubber, the white film rising to the surface is a normal process. They say to buff with a soft cloth. I did, but the patches, while a little lighter, were still quite prominent. The size 7 had the patches all over, but the 8 had none. I'm not going to exchange for another size 7 because I guess I can expect the white film to occur over time, even if I get a flawless boot to start. So sad, because this is one stylin' boot.

I love these boots. I wish it would rain more so that I can wear them all the time! They are super comfortable. You can totally dress them up. I even wore them to the club on a rainy weekend.

These boots are the best purchase I've made in a long time. They are super comfortable and useful. Since I usually where high heels, when it rains my rain boots are flat and then my pants are too long. These boots take care of that! I did, however, have to return the first black boots I purchased because they arrive gray even though the boot and box indicated black. Of course Zappos is so awesome and they were quickly replaced with black.

These boots are fabulous. They do run a good 1/2 size large, probably more if your feet are narrow. Before purchasing these stylish boots, I read the other reviews, and saw the complaints about the discoloration of white residue. I own other Hunter Boots, and the whitish discoloration is normal, if you don't clean the boots. The discoloration is easy to eliminate and prevent! These boots are too good to be misunderstood. Please purchase the Hunter Brand spray bottle of Boot Buffer liquid, and the Instant Shine buffer. These two products easily clean off the whitish residue, and your boots will polish to a high gloss sheen. I keep a soft terrycloth towel that is dedicated to polishing my other Hunter Boots. I've learned that if I simply polish the boots with the soft towel the moment the shine diminishes, the residue never builds up. My first pair of Hunter Boots were purchased in 2009. They are as shiny black today as the day I bought them. I live in New York City, so the boots get a lot of wear in the winter. My new and stylish Hunter Arnie boots arrived today. I ordered black. They came out of the box absolutely gray from the residue. I did have to apply some elbow grease, Boot Buffer spray and Instant Boot Shine. And my trusty soft terrycloth towel. With little effort, my Arnie's are now beautiful and shiny. I can't wait to wear them tomorrow!

So disappointed! I've been wanting these boots for a long time and finally decided to order. I read the previous reviews about the white residue, but decided it couldn't be that bad... well, I was quite wrong. Mine looked like they were shipped covered in flour! Seriously, how could Zappos ship a pair in the condition these were in? I have been a loyal customer of Zappos for many years and this is my first major disappointment. Other than the white residue the boots are amazing. Very comfortable for the size heel and the style is awesome. I'm returning this pair and will try for a better pair, but I'm not holding my breath given the other reviews.
