I've always liked Vera Bradley for its light wight and good construction but bright colors are sometimes dizzying.Thus I like the black. If I have a zipper I often leave it gaping open instead of continually zipping and unzipping. Thus this magnetic closure works great.I does take two hands to open though. Overall, I'm pleased.

These shoes are comfortable for standing and walking. I bought them for nursing school, and I am happy with the purchase. The only problem is the dark paint started scuffing off from the first day I wore them. They have a ton of red and white streaks along the toe and inside edge. I tried to cover it with black Sharpie, but it does not blend with the original paint. So, buy these for comfort, not looks.

I had to return them. I ordered a 9.5, as I am a narrow 10. The length fit across the footbed, but the strap ended about 1/2 inch shorter. I guess because it is intended to stretch over time? I didn't mind it. I did mind that when I inspected the shoe, it had scuffed on the tip of the toe. I think it came that way; regardless, the color seemed to be painted on poorly, and did not seem durable over a long period of time. The style looks like a pointier Croc, with a cushioned inset. I can see how if you have wider, or larger, feet, the bumps along the top of the shoe can be irritating.
