These are great snow pants. I played outside with the kids in 25-30 degree temps for 2 hours and the pants never absorbed water and kept me warm the entire time. I am 5'6" and typically wear a size 5/6 in pants but I followed the advice of another reviewer and purchased a size large because these pants do run very small. I like to wear multiple layers and the size large was almost perfect. With the velcro cinch straps around the waist they were just the right fit.
