I was disappointed, because I thought they were so cute, but there's a seam at the base of the tongue that really cut into my foot. Admittedly, I have high arches and high insteps, but it seemed like it would be a bother to a lot of people. Maybe not, though!

These grow on you! Ordered my regular size 9 based on other reviews but they were too small. Swapped for a 10 and they fit fine. The right boot had the irritating seam at the base of the tongue noted by another reviewer, but I wore them with thick boot
socks the first few times and now I can wear them with regular
socks. Even though these aren't leather, they seem to give a bit. Chunky heel is uber comfy - I can wear them all day. Just wish they were real leather, although they do seem to be a pretty high quality manmade material. Very satisfied.

boots - I wish they came in Wide! I really wanted to keep them, but my instep is too high, and the stitching across the center of the boot was cutting into the top of my foot (as other reviewers have mentioned) so they're going back. Kudos to Zappos, though - they couldn't make the return easier and the
boots arrived overnight, even though I selected standard shipping. Love you Zappos!

I received these today and they were exactly what I've been wanting. They were true to size. They seem a little stiff, but I haven't broken them in yet. They are super cute with tights and a
dress. I think I'll be wearing these quit a bit this winter.

These are very cute and make my size 9 feet look small, which I love. For me they were a full size too small - I ordered a 9 based on other reviews (my normal size) but they were way too tight so exchanged for a 10. They fit perfectly, but the right boot had that ridge noted by another reviewer at the base of the boot tongue that rubbed the top of my foot. I wore them with thick boot
socks and it helped a lot. Other than some minor irritation from that, I wore them all day today and they were very comfortable.

These
boots are great- they are comfortable enough for me to wear all day, even on my large walking campus. The heel is at a very stable height and also a little springy because of the rubber sole. I love that you can flip the front down over the laces to show off the fabric. This shoe DOES run a little larger- I am usually a 9-9.5, and I am exchanging for an 8.5. I expect to wear these on most days in the coming cold months.

boots. They run a little big, but I need that. The rawhide strings have stretch so are easy to wrap, so you gotta love 'em!

Love these shoes! I wear them all the time,
skirts,
dresses,
jeans you name it. I would agree with the other reviews as far as the ridge on the top of your foot, but once I broke them in they are now formed to my foot. I love the laces and experimenting on different ways to tie them rather than just the way it shows in the picture. Overall a great stylish shoe.
