Fantastic pair of booties! I just wore these for the first time today and they actually exceeded my expectations in almost every way. I wore them with a fuzzy but fairly thin pair of cashmere knee highs and thin knit pants tucked in and not a hint of tightness or rubbing anywhere. The leather is very high quality and seemed to mold to my foot more and more as the day wore on. Didn't develop any sore spots, bunion pain, or anything like that. The arch support was very adequate, felt right there where needed, the footbed cushy. These look more refined and elongating in person than in the picture. Also I thought at first that all the strappiness might be a bit too much especially with the pull-on loop in back, too busy and cowboyish, which is not my style, but actually the straps are quite subtle and sort of got lost in the slight wrinkling that appeared as the leather molded to my foot. They are comfortable for a wider foot, yet look on the narrow side when on - clean and elegant. The heel is beautifully sculpted and although not particularly light, it actually felt light on and didn't feel too high, yet definitely gives that chic high-heeled look. Also Born did it without any platforms, which I'm a bit tired of, as they get heavy after long wear, and reduce flexibility. Not so with these. Flexible as a fine leather glove. I would not go doing any long-distance walking in them due to the heel height, but if you really have to run some errands, it won't kill you, and definitely will take you through a busy day at the office and out for dinner. I would say an overall unexpectedly suitable all around stylish and versatile business casual look. And yes, I would say you could definitely wear them with a casual skirt or dress, with tights and even a pair of scrunchy socks peaking over, pants tucked in, over, whatever - just the thing for dry but cool winter days.

I love these boots. Seriously. They are incredibly cute and super comfortable. They have a high enough heel to be stylish and leg lengthening but not so high as to prevent me from wearing them almost every day. Very well made. They look great with skirts and dresses. I get compliments every time I wear them and my fiance loves them.

I love Borns! These boots are just beautiful, exactly what I was looking for. I think the heel is higher than stated but I am only 5' 2" so that is fine by me. They are comfortable with the rubber sole (which also prevents slipping) and only have tired feet after a full day of walking. These do run small, though. I am a solid 8 and absolutely had to get the 8-1/2. Once I swapped them out, they were perfect and I am happy!

These boots are much better looking in person. They look and feel beautiful and you can wear them all day. Love them!!

These are fabulous. They are perfect winter boots to go under my suits. I do a lot of walking in the city and climbing up and down stairs on the metro, and these boots keep up. Also, they keep me super warm in the cold weather. They also look really cute with tights to go with skirts and shorts, so they are very versatile.
