Just a warning to those who are thinking of buying these for active school use - after about 2 months, one buckle strap has broken off and another is perilously close to breaking too. Based on this experience, I will not buy these shoes again and will look for something with better strapping hardware for my daughter's next set of school shoes.

These are crazy cute, but I agree with the other reviewers, they run big. My daughter usually wears an 8.5 and I got an 8 W, and she's got some room to grow (which is good). Right out of the box they were perfectly fine, no breaking in. Love the old school look and my 3 1/2 year old loves them too!

These shoes are a little big for my two year old, however we still wore them because they so beautiful. They will be ready for full school use by the summer. Everyone loves the shoes, even Daddy passed positive comments about the details of the shoes.

My grandaughter has this shoe in several different colors. It is our favorite shoe. The red is a true red and looks so cute with
dress or play clothes. People always want to know where we found such a pretty red shoe. Zappos is the best!

This is the sweetest shoe. I wanted a classic shoe for my almost two year old, and this is it. It is sturdy, well-made, and adorable. I love the buckles because my daughter likes to undo
velcro. We have purchased Primigi
mary janes in the past, and every time I turned around, she had undone the
velcro. I find that it does run a little big, and I am glad that we ordered a size down from what she would normally wear. I will be returning to purchase these in other colors. Love these

My three year old loved these shoes, wanted to sleep in them! They are a bit big, but just enough so that they will last (good considering the price).
