"So how are they?". My husband asked nervously. (I have difficult feet.). "Too good to be true. I need to walk around some more." After more than a few rounds of the apartment, "These are keepers!" I shout. "No way." (After ordering and trying on 3 other pairs of
Keens to replace my beloved, aparently outdated and no longer made
Keens.) "Way." I joyfully respond. Wanted a shoe I could wear to work that would not kill my feet by the end of the day. The Toyah was good, but felt a half size too small. The Paradise hit in exactly my trouble spots, and Kaci was too stiff and too long. Tomorrow is the big test. If all goes well, I'll order a pair in brown. If not, you'll be hearing from me. So far though, I'm in no hurry to take them off.

I love my other
mary jane Keens and bought these in black because they looked so comfy and stylish. I was really disappointed to discover that this new style of
mary jane runs quite small. I wrote to a customer service rep from
Keen who responded that this new style was made for women whose feet required "less volume." Unfortunately this new style is not only narrower than my other pair, but it is shorter too. I can live with a narrower shoe, just not a short one.

Need
arch support? Stick with Toyah. I liked the fact that these had black soles on a black
Mary Jane. This shoe runs a little narrow and has a piece of elastic across the top, so would not be for someone with a wide or chubby foot. I have to have great
arch support for heel spurs and these do not have it. I will stick with Toyah.

I have 4 pairs of
Keen shoes and
sandals and they are all wide enough for my wide foot, bunion, and arthritic big toe. This style, however, runs more true to width, and was therefore too narrow for me. Owners of wide feet beware -- it really is a B width.

This would have been my dream shoe if it hadn't run a half size too short. It's really cute on -- more so than you can tell from the pictures -- and actually has good support and toe room without looking clunky. I almost kept them, hoping the length wouldn't really be a problem (I wear a size 11 so going up half a size wasn't an option) but decided that that really wasn't a practical assumption and so, reluctantly, returned them.

I purchased these to replace my Toyahs. The strap on the Toyahs is fraying after 4 years of frequent wear. I prefer the Sterling City style to Toyah because the profile is slightly more refined (narrower profile, less rubber on the toe), and the black soles are a tad bit dressier (not to say dressy). I wear a 9.5 in the Sterling City and a 9 in the Toyah, so I think they run a bit smaller. I also think the Sterling City has more support but it could be because I don't recall how much support the Toyahs had when I purchased them 4 years ago!

These shoes are the happy medium between comfortable and adorable, which is very hard to find! I find that most
Keen shoes come up quite high in the back and cause a blister on the back of my ankle. However, an
insole solves this problem. Very comfortable for long hours, and cute too!

Very satisfied with these
Keen shoes. Very comfortable and true to size. Have had a couple previous
Keen shoes and the same size has always been just right. Wasn't sure what this color "Snapper" was going to be, but really like it. Fairly neutral, but very pretty. Easy to coordinate with.

These shoes are so comfortable! I'm actually wearing them right now...I chose the green color, not too thrilled with it, I would never call these 'cute' shoes. But they look fine and really are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned.
