I had no problem with the foot bed lining but I wear hose with my shoes. Maybe that's the difference. I love these shoes. The quality of the patent leather is exceptional, making these shoes feel as if they have been broken in the first time I put them on my feet. I have a hard time wearing
pumps with with a pointed toe but these are as comfortable as a round toe shoe. If you want quality, comfort, and style, then these are it.

Pliner. These are very cute, classy, comfy and elegant for a work shoe - perfect for NYC walking. However, if you're going to charge your customers this much for shoes, the lining of the shoe better fit the shoe. I thought "okay, a fluke with the lining of the right shoe - the tip is all bunched up and toes are uncomfortable." Nope - same exact fluke on the left? Hmm. Unfortunately, they will be returned. Too bad.

I notice the quality of
Donald Pliner shoes has declined. Unfortunately seem to have tried to bring down their price points by manufacturing in Brazil, China etc.. Rather than disclose this, they simply describe the shoes "imported" as opposed to made in Italy or Spain. The shoes I've ordered that were of imported origin were definitely substandard in quality and fit. If they are going to have a price point driven line, then they need to market these under a second label or risk ruining their brand.

Was hunting for a brown suede
wedge and stumbled upon these...love them! They are fun, functional and extremely comfortable. I have a high arch and a wide toe box, and sometimes have trouble getting the right fit. These are a dream. I love the lime green topstitching. I'm thinking of getting them in black suede too!

Elegant and versatile shoe, but a bit pricey. I found it runs true to size. I am normally an 8 to 8.5, and initially ordered the 8.5 because I was worried they might run a little short in length, or be too narrow in the toebox. The 8.5 was too big, and I was stepping out of the shoe, so exchanged for an 8, and it's perfect. The heel height is perfect - comfortable, and not at all wobbly. The shoes are a bit stiff, but I hope they will break in. These are wearable year round in our temperate Texas climate.

These are very attractive and comfortable
pumps. The heel height is perfect for walking and the narrow
wedge gives them an elegant look. Unlike other reviews I did not have any problem with the quality of these shoes (I chose the black patent).

Very sweet, pretty shoe... but must run small, I am between a 6.5 and 7, got a 7 and need to return for 7.5.

Very high quality classy looking shoe. Not quite narrow enough in the heel area. Feels sloppy when worn 3-4 times.

I'm dissappointed in the shoe in that it is make in China. A pretty shoe but not the same as made in Italy, as I had expected. Next time I'll check before I order!
