After searching Zappos for tops that would look stylish with skinny
jeans/
pants and
skirts, and finding mostly over-sized and matronly-looking selections, I decided to try this shirt, because I liked the cut. I agree with everything the previous reviewer said. The sleeves are a bit too long (covering much of my palms but not touching any part of my fingers). And you can feel the polyester in the cotton; it's a bit scratchy, and it bugs me a little. But, it's so much better than most of the tops out there. It hugs your curves gently, making you look fashionable but not the least bit immodest. The fabric is more forgiving than many poly-blend
shirts on the market. It's long enough so you don't tug at it (to cover your backside), but it's fitted enough that you don't feel like you're in an huge, shapeless shirt. I'm 5'3" and 120 pounds, and the small fits well. It's a little snug in the upper arms (that's where I carry my weight), but it doesn't look tight. I wish they had more colors, but I'm going to buy another one in grey because I've worn it often since buying it, and it's a great "go-to" shirt that you can
dress up or down. In that way, it's in the same category as the
Prana Julz
Hoodie, which I also wear all the time and which is also fitted but long, and very versatile. For the price, especially cost-per-wear, this shirt is a winner. I'm guessing it'll travel well, too.
