Hello Ladies, Quick little pro and con about the Shimmer Me Hooded
Jacket. O.k so I'm 5.5, 34D, size 14. Pro's~ this
jacket hits low on the hips, you definitely feel more covered than your usual top of the hip
jacket. This
jacket is pretty generous. I put a very thick sweater on underneath and it zipped right up. It's going to fit just right for ladies with a little more up top. It will easily accommodate
sweaters for skiing. Love the gunmetal grey. It shows closer to black than the picture. Nice hatched print. Awesome thumb mitts and the most important thing, at least to me, who is always freezing, the 007 stealth silver omni-heat thermal reflective material on the inside. You put this thing on and you can actually feel your body heat bouncing off the liner and heating you up. My little girl keeps stealing it because it warms her up so quickly. I'd buy it for the liner alone. Cons~ It is not a tailored
jacket. There isn't any cute little cut to show off your waist. The arms are strangely long. Probably to accommodate the thumb cuffs. Still, if you have short arms, this thing is going to drive you nuts. It does have a draw string but it's at the bottom of the coat. Personally, I really like the
jacket. It's low key, cute, tough, so warm, wears well, you can toss it in the washer and when, nowadays you can drop money on a sweater coat, for this toasty little pet is pretty nice. For the warmth, you might find yourself easily spending less. Zippers, tough and smooth, one inside pocket, generous side pockets, hood does not come off but can be tightened. Hits up under the chin just right. Almost as light as say, and Eddie Bauer Down sweater, of which I have but wanted more coverage. Hope this helps, Enjoy!
