This is a beautiful dress boot. However, I found the leather to be too stiff and uncomfortable and will be returning them for that reason. I wear a 6B and found them to be true to size.

The boots look beautiful. However, they are extremely uncomfortable. When I walk in them, I feel like my feet are in rocks. There is no flexibility whatsoever. If you are not wearing socks to reach all the way to the edge, then the edge of the boots will scratch your legs. I wish I tried them on before going out, I would have gladly returned them.

I ordered these boots in the dark brown and absolutely love them! They look great and the while the leather is a little stiff, it keeps them from looking "worn" too quickly. The boots did feel tight around my toe section when I first put them on, but after wearing them for a couple days, they stretched out perfectly and are very comfortable. I usually just make sure to wear a thinner sock and have no problems. One note though, the dark brown is actually a medium brown color. It's a beautiful shade of brown, just not very dark. I purchased a similar boot in black prior to ordering these in the brown, but am going to order these in the black as well because I love them so much.

I had been looking for a pair of black booties to replace a pair that I had had for about 6 or 7 years. These fit the bill in that the heel is a little wider than most and not too high. My days of skinny stilettos are long gone, so these were a good choice. The shaft hits in the lower part of my shin, which took some getting used to, especially when going up or down steps. All in all, this was a good purchase, and as usual, Zappos delivered them next day, which is a great thing.
