These are super cute boots, I wear with dress pants to work and also with jeans. Comfort isn't bad, the sole area where ball of foot rests could use more padding. And depending on the size of your ankle the front digs slightly into my ankle. But the more I wear I have noticed this not so bad, so leather is probably stretching. Overall nice boot, true to size.

Love these boots! Let me start by saying that I never wear heels of any sort. I ordered these because I thought they were cute, but fully expected to have to return them. To my surprise, I found these boots to be stable, well-made, and super comfortable (with no break-in period!). I have very high arches (much of the reason I find heels so painful) and, though no insole is ever quite enough for them, these come close. They also don't push down uncomfortably on the top of my foot, which is a definite plus. I'm a very true 7.5 and they seem a bit long in the toe, though that may just be the design. And since they don't look or feel big on my feet, I decided to keep the 7.5s rather than trying for a 7. If you are on the fence about these boots, absolutely get them! I don't know why Zappos lists the heel height as 2 3/4"; I measured and it's actually 2 1/4" (though, factoring in the front sole, they even out to a very reasonable 2" lift).
